The final book in the series was like a big finale with so many old characters, especially from the original Grant series.  Chrissa and Drostan are sweet.  The whole sword thing wasn't my favorite but it was cool.

This is probably one of my favorites in this series because I love the tension between Dyna and Derrick.  Also love how close all the grandkids are to Alex, but especially Dyna.  It's so sweet.

Another enjoyable installment in the series.  Alick and Branwen are both likeable.  Is the whole sword thing a little cheesy?  Yea.  Am I eating it up and zooming through these books?  Also yes.

Another fun quick read about a member of the Grant family.  Sometimes I think I'm mostly here for cameos of the original characters.  Els dealing with trauma from battle was a nice way to mix it up from the usual strong/fierce warrior trope.  Joya was cool too.  Not sure how I feel about some of the other plot elements.

This was a fun read.  It's kind of sad that timing wise it makes sense that some of the original family members have passed away at this point.  I'm curious what the common plot will be across this series, but I'm a bit glad that the magical/supernatural elements are present from the beginning.  I think in some of the past Grant/Ramsay series it was a pet peeve that it was randomly relevant towards the end of the series.

The Christmas novellas are usually pretty quick reads and so was this one.  There's also usually some supernatural or magical element.  In this case it was Paddy the Pony, which that name never fails to make me laugh because it's so cheesy but in a cute dorky way.

Loved Connor and Sela, although a lot of the tension between these two definitely built up in the previous books.  The hints before are probably part of what made this pair so exciting.  Nice way to wrap up this series.  CW: torture and abuse.

We are first introduced to Linet in the previous book where she for some reason doesn't want to be saved from this illegal organization she's been pulled into.  This book also definitely does more to set up the next/final book in the series.  Excited for Connor and Sela.

I love the Ramsays, especially Gwenyth and Logan so any story about their kids I'm excited about.  CW for abuse and sexual assault.  I don't know why Constance needs to be so annoying in this book when she was so lovable in her story and the one before.  She was suddenly so over the top.

I really liked Daniel and Constance!  Their romance was fun and flirty.  It was also nice to be back in some common settings since the first few books jumped around a lot location wise.  These books are quick reads so I feel like the common threads/characters are a big driver in what makes them enjoyable.
