This book was okay. I had a hard time getting invested in the characters. I found them both kind of annoying in some ways and often the dialogue in the book was really cringey. I think I might like the next sister, Freya better.

This book and whole series is full of comforting romances.  While I liked Struan and Grace there were instances where they just seemed stubborn for the sake of being stubborn.  At times the plot moved forward in a way that felt rushed but this is a short book, at about 160 pages.  The ending felt a little bit abrupt and I wish the epilogue had added more, especially since there was a story line that I don't think got resolved.  I also loved Gavin and Flora, and I thought they could have been the stars of the next book in the series but I've realized that every book in this series has had a secondary romance which is also really sweet and comforting.  Overall a very cozy read!

Meh. At first I wasn’t really feeling it and then some of the poems just gave me an ick. I feel like this bit sums up the collection: ‘no - I am doing no harm, nor am I doing much good.’

This was a nice collection of poems.  Some stood out more than others, as is usually the case.

Incredible collection of poems reflect on the cost of war. 

This is the fourth book in the Well Met series, and I believe the last.  I really enjoyed reading about Dex and Lulu.  I also loved seeing some recurring characters.  It's a great relaxing read and I'm also super excited for the Renn Faire now!

Recently, many of books of poetry I've read had a lot of religious imagery or undertones.  This is the first I've read where the references to religion span different religions.  It would be interesting to look into what Mary Oliver's experience or background with various religions is and how that led to those specific poems.

I was pretty excited for another spin off of the clan grant series. This being the first one felt a bit like there was a lot of recap, which makes sense, but also I’m not a huge fan of. Isla and Grif are not my favorite couple through the series, and sometimes the dialogue was a bit cringe but overall the book was pretty consistent with the other series and I enjoyed it! I can’t wait for Maitland’s story!

This was a cool start to the series. The art work is amazing, and there are a ton of cool characters. But very very heavy themes and storylines. 24 hours is incredibly dark and gory and I was not prepared. I would check all content warnings. 

This felt more like a novella than a full book. At only a hundred pages I read it in one sitting. I really liked Freya and Padraig, and enjoyed their story. It did take me a minute to figure out how Padraig related to the Ross clan but that might just be because I read the novella about Ella and Evander a while back. Overall, great story, a fun read, and lovable FMC and MMC!
