I was pretty excited for another spin off of the clan grant series. This being the first one felt a bit like there was a lot of recap, which makes sense, but also I’m not a huge fan of. Isla and Grif are not my favorite couple through the series, and sometimes the dialogue was a bit cringe but overall the book was pretty consistent with the other series and I enjoyed it! I can’t wait for Maitland’s story!
