I love Kieran and Maisie.  I love good, sweet characters, falling in love in ways that are flirtatious, and a little bit hesitant, but also there's nothing childish about the way they treat each other or their feelings.  This was such a fun read, I read it in one sitting basically.  A huge fan of this author and this duet was perfect.  I sort of wish there was more to the series but the two stories were actually perfect together.

I went into this not knowing much about the story, or what to expect, so the beginning was much heavier than I was prepared for.  I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series as vol. 1 feels like the foundation for the story and I can't wait to see the way themes of hate, grief, and trauma come together.  The artwork is stunning, but I think I most appreciated the essays at the back of the book.  It's so easy to breeze through comics but the essays helped me slow down and truly appreciate the contributions of this work to the larger culture of Black futurism, Conjure, and EnthoGothic art.

I'm so glad I stuck it out after the last two books in the series because this one felt closer to the Keira Montclair books I fell in love with!  I love Brin and Ceit.  Maybe it was the glimpse of them you got in the last book, the Scot's Protector, that I was already anticipating their story but this book didn't disappoint.  The way they fell for each other was sweet, both MCs were so likeable, and dealing with their own issues but also coming together in a really sweet and supportive way.  I wasn't expecting the age gap, and I don't think that's something that's come up often in these stories at least not this significant of a gap.  I loved this, and honestly it might be one of the books that I go back and re read because it was light and enjoyable.

I love Callum and Lexie.  I don't usually love a mafia romance, but this was done really well, and the FMC didn't feel like a trope.  I will definitely reading more from this author!

I didn't enjoy this book as much as I thought I would.  It actually felt kind of disappointing in comparison to the first book in the series.  Luca and Soarsie both seemed lively as side characters and then they suddenly seemed subdued in their own book.  It wasn't what I was expecting but it also didn't really stand out in any way.

I really liked Davina and Campbell.  They both have things to overcome and it's nice the way they support each other through it.

Another great book in the series!  I wasn't expecting the end at all but I still love it.  Aderyn and Samson were so cute!

I don't usually like college romances, but this was so lovely to read and I can't wait for more of the series.  I love Finn and Naomi.  Watching them fall in love brought me so much joy!

Declan was likeable but Jade was so annoying.  This whole problem is her own doing and the way she throws her self a pity party is infuriating.  Definitely my least favorite in the series.

This was a fun read. Moira and Rory are both so lovable as are most of the supporting characters. There were moments where the pacing felt weird and also I wish I had known the book was fade to black. But overall I enjoyed the series and look forward to reading about the rest of the Stewarts.
