I will preface by saying usually I am a Ali Hazelwood stan but this book was just not it for me. 

It was super cute and fun but I felt like there was zero depth to the plot and the plot itself was incredibly repetitive. Chess is interesting but as a main plot point hard to make a compelling story out of. 

Also while I typically enjoy a little bit of miscommunication I really didn't enjoy it in this book. Mallory not talking to her mom at all about her emotions is not healthy. 

Just not for me. 

A fun addition to the series. I really enjoyed the change from the norm with having Veronica having healer abilities. 

I already knew that from having read ice planet barbarians but it was fun to see where it started. Ashtar is funny from his lack of human knowledge

I love the concept and plot of this books. 

The multiverse is a topic my spouse and I have discussed on numerous occasions so to see it brought to life in a novel way really fun. 

There was a few things that I wish the author had touched on more but understand that it would result in an enormous book. The two main things being what happens to Amanda after and why we're paradoxes never discussed. 

I really liked that the author took the cultivars even farther. Most of us think of it as branches from the past running concurrently but with the creation of all the Jason's in Jason1s world it really made you think about each and every decision you make in the present as well

Overall a very good sci-fi book with lots of twists and turns. Really enjoyed ans would recommend.

I was fortunate enough to get a early copy from the publisher. 
This book was incredible from start to finish. I am biased I am a huge Ali K Mulford fan. 

I loved the characters right from the start and felt really connected to them throughout the entirety of the novel. I loved the rough and rumble setting and personality of the characters and as someone who works manual labor loved that Lark was this sweet, petite wallflower. 

In addition to loving the characters I also fell in love with the fact that this book did what few other romance novels do; it discussed real world things like menstruation, contraception, illness, hangovers, poop both human and other, and going to the bathroom after happy fun times. The more I can relate to a book the more I love it. This may be a 6 ⭐️read for me from that alone. Top it off with the fact that Lark was the type of woman who has thick thighs and a butt that jiggles when she walks.

 I'm over the moon. Give me more like yesterday. I can't wait to see where this series goes

A super cute introduction to a new romance series by my favorite author. Can wait to read more. 

This novella was super fun. I loved The Phantom of the Opera growing up and this was a great throwback. 

Really quick and easy read. Will continue reading the series

The world building and atmosphere created was so well done and made this spooky read even spookier. 

I felt the hair on my neck standing up in certain parts of this book and never revealing the narrators name really added to whole book. 

There were a few things i didn't like/ or had issue with but overall this was a really good horror. 

What an amazing fantasy story. This book was unlike anything I've ever read before. 

I read this book so slowly because I didn't want it to end. I loved the subtle slow burn romance that was worked into the plot along with the plot itself. 

I adore the house and want to love in it myself. 

Well if you love a exhibitionist then this novella is for you. 

I enjoyed it. It was a very fast read so if you just want some smut this is a great options

What a fun and whimsical story. This quick paced adventure was a joy to listen to and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 

I highly recommend to anyone seeking out the classics on the lighter side.
