I did not enjoy this book. There were many problematic themes that were not addressed in healthy ways. 

On top of the problematic themes there was also many sections of the book that were quite long winded or completely unnecessary. 

I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone and it's a stretch to me that this book and the one before it are considered romance. 

This book was an adventure from start to finish. 

I really enjoyed the plot and concept of this book but where were a few things that I didn't enjoy. 

Some aspects of the book seemed like padding to make the book longer

I love these series. They are cheesy and lighthearted and everything I need between fantasy or thriller books. 

I like Lauren and how level headed she is. And K'Thar and his possessiveness is just ugh so good.

This series is so fun and charming to me. I love the mix of human and fae and the world of Valora in general.

I was irritated through a portion of the book that two individuals that have been in Valora for thousands of years each didn't realize they were fated but I do understand about no souls in the Lost Lands and how it would affect the bond. 

Really hoping Zaylee and Madden get a novel or novella. I found Maddens ability so interesting 

I have mixed feelings about this book. 

There were elements I really enjoyed and some that I really didn't
The overall plot was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to reading the next book. There was a lot of times where I found the main character irritating or repetitive. While I understand that a certain death was a main part of the plot I don't need to be reminded of it repeatedly throughout the entire book. I'm aware it happened.

This book was beautifully written. I loved the prose and the chapter headers. It made me wish Angharad was a real book I could read. 

I love fair folk fantasy worlds and this one felt truly unique to me. 

There are definitely some hard topics within this boo but they are addressing a such a wonderful way

What an incredibly gripping novel. While the beginning was a little slow I reached a point where I couldn't put it down and needed to know what would happen next. 

I loved the different dynamics of the characters relationships. They added a more real world feel of a small town to the story for me. 

The date, time and precipitation at the beginning of each chapter added such a nice touch to the overall plot and really backed up the main storyline in such a subtle way.

One minor detail at the end felt a little lacking to me so 4.75⭐️

A gripping look at domestic abuse in the lgbtqia+ community. 

This book was written in such a way that it read like fiction and you would be suddenly hit with the reality that it was indeed nonfiction and then needed to pause to compose myself at the overwhelming realness of it all. 

The writing was beautiful and I was unable to look away even for a moment. 

I highly recommend the listen. 

This book was enjoyable but did drag in some areas where we already know what is happening having read persephones POV. 

I will continue with the series since I adore Greek mythology but I really hope the next books have more individuality from persephones side

While the beginning of this book is on the slow side I absolutely adored it by the end. 

This is so incredibly well written and was an absolute joy to read. 

There were so many tense moments that were loaded with sexual tension that while no actual acts were happening the moments felt intimate. 

While I'm typically not a fan of dark academia this had a very nice balance of life and academia that I was able to enjoy it without feeling like I'm at school.
