Well Ali K Mulford knocked it out of the ... zoo again.   

I loved this book so much. It was the most incredible dose of grumpy sunshine that I needed in my life. And everything about this book was grrrreat. 

I love the characters, both human and animal, in this series new and recurring. They all have such incredible and diverse personalities that all mesh together so well. They feel like real people with real relationships and family dynamics. 

Additionally as someone who works in a labor field I loved Hannah's nickname and laughed every time Hawk said it. As for the last 10% of the book ...umm I'm not crying you're crying, and not just crocodile tears. 

This tiktok rec knocked it out of the park. This was amazing and I loved every second of it. 

Lore was such a dynamic character and I loved her journey throughout this book.  

The ending had me shocked and I can't wait for book 2

While I preferred the writing in this book I did find it less exciting than the first book.

There were definitely points in this book that felt repetitive and points where I felt this Duet could have just been one book. 

Enjoyed it and would recommend but the first book was my preference 

Really fast paced read. Went in blind and ended up reading it in a day. 

I found myself captivated in the story right from the beginning, it starts off action packed and just keeps going throughout. 

Recommended for all the Dark Romance readers out there.

 What a wild ride this book was and I enjoyed every second. The mystery kept me hooked from the very beginning and I just kept muttering "one more chapter" because I just kept wanting more. 

The only thing that detracted for me was I wanted a little more conclusion with Janet but over this book was great and kept me guessing the whole way through 

Beautifully written but the story just didn't captivate me like others by this other have. 

I enjoyed it and it is a quick read so I would recommend. It ties in really well with the first story just wasn't very exciting. 

Super fun quick read. This is probably my favorite from this series. 

After reading the others in this series I was expecting smutty, monster romance with HEA and that's not really what I got. 

This was darker than I was expecting and to me ended on a very creepy and almost horror note. 

Overall a really good quick read. A few of the stories went over my head but I still enjoyed reading it. 

A little odd....a little smutty...was a quick okay read while sitting in the hot tub.
