I really enjoyed the book overall but I did not enjoy the narration. When just speaking rhe male and female narrators were great however when they did the opposite genders voice it was just cringy. 
I will continue the series but hopefully the narration style changes

So very sad and heartbreaking. It's crazy to me that people like this exist in the world and grt away with the things they do for many many years

Wish there was more to it

While this book was beautifully written and the story was very interesting I just found it to be a little too much for me. 

I also found the characters to be very repetitive. I also found the habits of both main characters to be extremely problematic

I loved this book. I love Elfhame and the entire cast of characters. 

I adored the culmination of this duology and how well Holly Black incorporated details from the original trilogy. 

I sincerely hope she does more books in this world. 

Another cute and funny romance in this series. These are such a great palette cleanser after a thriller. 

I really enjoyed almost everything about this book. The pacing was excellent, the mystery had enough twists and mystic that I wanted to know more, and it all concluded nicely. 

I didn't enjoy the somewhat repetitive tone of the main character but that was easy enough to over look.

Will likely read the next in the series

If you love smut then this is for you. A fun twist on the tale of Dorothy in Oz that focuses more on the witches than Dorothy. 

I really enjoyed Dorothy being evil vs the original storyline. And it was a fun retelling of the trio that help her. 

Easy and smutty read

I love fake dating and this didn't disappoint. 

I loved reta and her wit, body type and career. 

Totally recommend for a quick and cute romance

While very wordy this book is beautifully written. This type of book is meant to be read slowly to allow the mind to create the scenes the author is so meticulously describing.

 This book isn't meant to be in your face horror but a slow creeping, a sensation and a descent into someone else. 

A knowledge of Japanese folklore will be a plus as there is a lot of imagery being presented but a bit of googling will help the reader if you don't know the lore.
