A really fun memoir. 

While I love a good retelling I found this one very repetitive and somewhat degrading as a woman who loves to read. I understand that the time when this book was set it was unfathomable to be an intellectual woman but she wrote it as if it was a crime. As well it really focused on the value of beauty. Again a product of the time period but could have been done better. 

Perhaps if natasha hadn't followed the stereotype of being the dark sister and just lived there wouldn't have been a problem. 

I loved the dual pov of this book. I will definitely be finishing the series. 

I much preferred aefa and max compared to tissahnah. And I hope the next book includes nura

I really enjoyed this and one plot points at the end did surprise me. 

I wish there was a little more to the epilogue with Mason, birdie, Ida but I get that the book would be quite long to include all that

I've enjoyed this series immensely but this one felt weaker than the others to me. 

I'm looking forward to the next one though

This series is so fun. I enjoy these books so much. They are so laid back and fun and yes predictable  but it is so relaxing and fun

Elen is at it again. Quite frankly I find detective Warren to be a little insufferable. She states things that are plainly obvious and missing the big details. Instead of following one lead she flits around and changes direction at every new bit of evidence  

Not sure if I'll read book 3

It was good but I didn't find myself drawn in. Will continue the series though because I did like the writing and the world 

Really cute. I like the mystery and reverse harem. 

I didn't see the twist coming for this book. 

Great inbetween read and I will continue the series

I loved the mix of thriller and romance. This book had everything i love all bundled up into one. 

I did find certain things very predictable and that did detract from my overall rating of the book but it was a really enjoyable read overall and I would recommend it to people who like either genre
