Twisted, weird, a woman who married a man and now is part of his family with his daughter yet the linger spirit of his dead wife is staying behind, making her mind twist and turn while making the audience second guess what's real or not.

Overall, really intriguing, read it in two sittings, and still trying to piece together what exactly the fuck happened.

I enjoyed this volume even more than the first. We get a lot more into her job, and the whole ceremony behind it all. I really loved the overall attitude we get from Maomao. Especially during the tasting for poison scene, it's humorous but also she's kind of a badass? I'm enjoying learning about poisons but most of all thanks to Maomao this makes for an enjoyable read.

Oh plastic man...you always fuck up. There's some really great scenes including Plastic Man's son trying to now even convince his mom to give him a chance to talk to them. It's heartbreaking but understandable. Great stuff.

As bonkers as ever. Basically the guys try to have some bonding time but old ladies come and try to kill them while poor Momo has to deal with creepy old guys at the bath. Overall stupid as ever, fun as ever, over the top as ever, and it's something you'll love if you don't take it too serious.

This has a new character introduced, while also focusing on our main lead and her first ranking.

It's still a solid series. I enjoyed to learn about how the rankings go online for cosplayers, also the new character is insanely weird faces make her fun to view. I will say the fan service is toned down a lot, which is refreshing, but still see boobies and nips here or there but feels less forced. Overall a solid volume with a cute holiday special bonus chapter at the end. Who doesn't love a good ass shot? I know I do!

Cool little one shot of Ross becoming the hulk with a very very dark ending. Overall worth it to see how Ross would have been the hulk back in the 60s.

I gotta say this one didn't age all that well for me.

The idea of Joe becoming a fighter is inspiring but sometimes the OG is outclassed and Hajime no Ippo would have been the better series to have brought over to the US so we can enjoy it in paperback form. Ashita No Joe lacks the fun fights, the amazing characters, and the overall flow to the story. A lot of the humor lands flat, and while I appreciate it's much loved from the community I couldn't get into this at all.

This volume was actually really cute. Some really funny moments with her big sister. Then the day just spending together like a married couple. Enjoying life as it comes. And then those last few pages, the breakdown, I'm over here holding it in, and BAM. I loved it.

Second volume is a nice improvement as we see a once abused victim start to feel free of her past. I really like the main two's storyline, and how they are trying to get over her trauma. It's done actually really well and helps make this series have two strong leads. The "Villains" are a bit cartoony but I accept them for now. The ending was fire, literally. Excited for volume 3.

I really liked this one. Basically first half deals with the kidnapping and let's just say Kudo is not too happy they stole his soon to be wife from him. Great character driven moments, a lot is revealed on how all these characters feel, and the second half as a lot of cute moments and growth. Overall really enjoyable storyline.
