Was not a fan of this one. I found it dreadfully boring and slow. Art was pretty solid for the Black Lagoon design, but the humans? I dunno...Overall skippable.

This finishes up this arc with a new member joining the team. I can't wait to see this one fight animated because holy fuck is it going to look sick. But overall the big worm is out, the old ladies/men are out, and we have a new member who maybe is a bit two face? (As in Batman like two face) Overall very fun volume.

Wow this Omnibus BLEW me away. I was not expecting to enjoy this that much.

Danny is just a normal dude trying to live his everyday life. When suddenly him and his sister get attacked and he stumbles onto the Ghost Rider power. From there on we get 24 issues of pure balls to the wall motorcycle, chain, and stares till your scared action. I loved alot of this run. In fact if we're talking about the main run, the 24 issues, I don't think I rated a single issue below a 3 and a lot of 4's and even a few 5's. I just loved Danny's growth here from a scared, kind of loser dude, to doing what he must and becoming a dark, edgier, hero.

Even when we do deter from the main series the two parter Hobgoblin story is fun and the team up with Punisher and Wolverine is beyond fun, it's 90's action superhero galore and man was I smiling the whole time watching these three work together.

I think what also works is the villains here are all really fun. Ranging from psycho powered vampires, to just regular joe smo cops being terrible and abuse of power, to even Johnny Blaze returning to be a foil for Danny only to become a mentor.

So much good is packed here, this is the great 90's run you'd want before the 90's turned into shit. Besides the team up marvel issues that take up the last 100 pages or so, I really loved most of this book. I wish the team up issues were honestly just forgotten about, they're nothing to write home about.

Weakest in the series for me. My daughter also was a bit bored in the start and middle. It's alot of talk of magic, and the lands of which our villains come from/are. It's some neat twist, and the stuff with Izzy is perfect, but it had a struggle to balance the humor and story plotting. My daughter's words were

"I don't know what is happening sometimes but I LOVE Izzy" and Izzy is now her favorite.

These were all pretty fun! Basically a lot of short one shots of Godzilla tearing through cities, creating messes for regular people to deal with, or fighting gigantic monsters. I do love that this book has a lot of different styles of one shots so it paints Godzilla it a lot of different ways. The later half is just pieces of bigger story in other books. But overall for a Godzilla, this is worth a read if you love the Big G like me!

As someone who grew up on Eminem, this was terrible. A 0 out of 5.

The idea is great. One story is about a detective hunting a killer. The other guy is mutating and grows another finger. The detective believes the killer has six fingers. DUN DUN DUN! The hunt is on. It's a nice idea, but the stuffed story feels slow burned despite only being 5 issues for each series. I didn't get that invested in any character in the series, they feel like they're just there to push the plot. The plot itself is solid enough with a nice twist and questioning things by the end but overall it's just not "great" that I hoped for.

Some really fun stories here. This is just such a laid back but enjoyable manga. Our two leads have fun stories this time around including losing the ash tray he got for her. Him recalling how he got into smoking. Her trying to take a test to advance in her job. All of it worked well and made for an enjoyable, and cute, time.

A satisfying if not a bit to easy with a bow on top ending. Basically Caleb gets screwed over to the point he just flips out and strikes back. Somehow everything goes to chaos and his enemies become his friends, a secret German lady and her killer children help as well, and everything will be settled a bit too easy. Caleb is still a fun main lead but the story is wearing thin. I think this is the final one in the entire series and it makes sense.
