Another funny as hell volume.
This starts off with Iori having his classmates come to his house to prove he isn't living with Chisa...and you know hilarity is bound to explode on this story front. The rest of the volume deals with buying new diving equipment, and then going on vacation together. I really liked the fact Cakey (Aina) gets to shine here. You learn a little about her background this time around and this volume ends on a pretty great emotional moment.
The volume is once again funny. There's one sleeping situation that actually made me burst out laughing as well as Aina talking about her dream coming true only to have it ruined a moment later, I laughed so loud I scared my daughter.
If I'm stressing or having a bad day, this is the manga to fix me up. A 4 out of 5.

Another excellent volume getting to chill out on the beach on a vacation with coworkers. Some really cute moments like our main leads thinking about kids. And a build up towards...maybe marriage? Yes please.
A effective creepy horror that ends in a similar fashion to how it began.
So we have Kat, a single mother, with her child Sybil, as they decide to move away from their city they live in due to having issues with Sybil at school and Kat just kind of being a fuck up. Kat learns of her mother's passing and decides to take a trip out to the town she grew up in since her mother left her the house anyway. What starts as a typical family drama soon turns into a hellish nightmare as this town isn't what it seems.
I personally really enjoyed this. I'm a sucker for family/life drama. And watching Kat and Sybil try to make ends meet on top of dealing with this weird children of the corn like vibe town was great. I also really enjoyed the art, captures this mysterious town well. The ending comes as a shock in ways but also expected. Don't expect a very happy ending here.
I did think it can get a bit too wordy at points but besides that I really dug this one. A 4 out of 5.

A solid volume but much weaker than previous ones. It's basically setting up the Culling games. I did enjoy the fights and it had some funny moments, but felt more set up than pay off. So for that it's just good.
A decent end to a uneven action comics and Superman run. Didn't hate it like the rest of the internet. This one deals with the red cloud lady and supes and his family of supes including Connor deal with her. It's fun but not amazing and that's pretty much the entire run. Art is sometimes nice and other times shit.
A pretty cute and fun story despite the old manga trope of all the girls falling for this okay-looking guy.
So one day we have our main character coming home from work after being dump and finds this high school student by a light post. She ask if she could stay with him and offers herself to him in exchange. Unlike most disgusting people, this guy decides to take her in, but not because he wants to use her but feels bad for her situation. Through this new living arrangement both of them learn to co-exist in the same house while he builds up the encouragement to make his next move to the girl he likes at work.
There's a lot of cute moments in this book. I also liked the main lead thinking how disgusting it is for grown ass men to take advantage of this girl because she's out on the street. Refreshing, especially for manga. I also liked the crush one of his co-workers has on him, it's cute, and she's cute, and I hope he ends up with her. It's not a groundbreaking manga but it is a fun one. A 3 out of 5.

This was pretty awful not going to lie. None of the stories really stuck with me and the insane awful art especially in the Tooth and Claw story was really terrible. Venom just seems really weird here, going all Commando style when the dude was a fucking reporter for the news. I don't think Hama is a bad writer, but he does not write Venom well.
This volume failed to be as fun as the first. While the start of it was actually solid and I REALLY enjoyed the team up with Peter, Ben, and Eddie facing off against symbiots, the later half fell into the 90's dark hole of garbage storylines. So bad and over the top you can hardly remember a single character. Eddie becoming a over the top muscle head warrior was stupid IMO, and they dropped all the storylines of romance to give you this garbage, which added nothing to the character. Then Peter and Eddie face off one last time at the end and it goes as you'd expect.
I'm happy to move out of the 90's after this for poor venom. It did not help him in the later half.
A 2 out of 5.

More enjoyable than last volume for sure.
This time we have our main character once again trying to juggle too many things that he can handle. The first half is more of a idiot trying to save face with his grandma, it is funny, but typical. Second half is a lot more interesting where our lead is trying to make good on offending his friend. It's a nice way to fix things, and something I hadn't expected.
Overall, pretty solid volume.

Story was fun if not a bit too simple. The art? Excellent. Really was badass to see a one shot action scene through the issue.
