Very very very solid opening. A serial killer is going around killing people and Batman has to stop him. Great art, solid story, good character moments of Bruce. Well worth the read!

From the fallout of the last issue, the Ultimates are trying to keep going forward. I love the feel of this issue, and trying to fix things, that may very much not be fixable, but the Ultimates formed together in the first place to try. And try they might. The America moment, the chat between Doom and She-Hulk, Hawkeye, and Steve and John. All of it worked for me. A bit slow on the action but great fallout chapter.

The first time I EVER felt bad for Nick Fury in anything. Holy fuck are these pieces of shit villains truly disgusting and The Maker is shaping up to be one of the best modern day villains of all time.

Best issue of the entire series so far. So much shit happens but the cyclops scene in particular? BRUTAL. This feels like everything is turning against these poor kids, and I hope they make it out of this.

Okay. Story is kind of whatever, cool setting though, and some great deaths.

Dark as fuck.

After Bad Horse finds out his mom's dead, he's also dealing with a kid who lost his mom to being strangled to death. But the person who does it, really is untouchable, atleast for now. Things get twisty turny but really the highlight of this volume is Bad Horse trying to sort his emotions and figure out how to deal with loss. Wonderfully done, horrible to watch, could not stop reading.

The origin story of Poison Ivy works because she's painted as someone who made a lot of mistakes, which most people can relate to. And she doesn't always do the right thing, sometimes her own doing, sometimes forced. It makes for a very interesting first half of this book. Second half is Poison Ivy and the team in the swamp trying to survive an invasion. Crazy art, awesome moments, and wonderful character banter. I really dug this volume overall.

I think the jokes are fun, the characters are cute, but nothing really happening is making me all that excited to keep reading. I might drop it here sadly. Might just not be for me!

Pretty fun volume, two big fights. One being the headmaster of the entire school. There's still funny parts but less funny than last few volumes. Will still read cause fun breezy read.

Another great issue. Poor MJ, dealing with an insane mother, and bitchy sister. That ending tho... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
