Not really for a fresh start but a solid first issue. Basically got two groups of the JSA split up, and a lot of internal conflict as well as a spy on the team. It's good but not great.
A okay follow-up from the first issue. It has more of Batman being unmoving with his belief and fighting back against the slavers. But it lacks the punch first issue had.
Yeah...this just isn't doing much for me anymore. It seems more like trying to be Superman Lost or Hulk Planet hulk, but not hitting much for me at all. A 2 out of 5.
Still really good. Cassandra keeps on helping her mother, despite being very weary. But the fights here are fun, and a bit brutal, and by the end I fear Cass is too defeated. A 4 out of 5.
Man, venom needs a complete rehaul. And a new writer. A whole new look/feel cause he hasn't bee the same since he left Cates' hands.
Wonder Woman and Superman both improved their first issue by focusing on the characters. Lois and Superman get cuffed together and Superman shows just who he is in his heart as Lois keeps trying to take him down yet he fights for the people of this planet. I love that Aaron get's superman down to a tee here and less focus on a corporation and more character focus helps this tremendously.
A boy who goes off his meds starts to murder people by hearing the voice of a old hitman/contract killer.
This is def a tripper book than I expected but I also really enjoyed the flow of this. It's very fast paced, the downward spiral goes very quick for our young protagonist as once he's off his medicine he begins to work for the cartel and do some awful stuff. We slowly get his background through flashbacks that work as a reason why he's this way. Overall I really enjoyed this one for the most part. I felt the spiral into murdering was a bit quick, but overall I enjoyed my time reading this and some great vicious kill scenes. A 4 out of 5.

I wasn't sure after such a huge gap in volumes that the new running series for Geiger would work. Would I care for our nuclear man?
Turns out I do! This is actually stronger than the original mini. Have Nate the Knight, a dude dressed up as a knight following around Nuclear Man and helping him along with his lovely cute doggie as they go through this wasteland with a killer following them is both great in the world building sense, but also some GREAT fight scenes, on top of touching moments (Especially with the doggie). You can honestly jump into this without reading the original 6 issue comic. But this is still a great continuation. A 4 out of 5.

I really enjoyed this fast paced, magical, fairy-tale like vicious murdering bloody story all wrapped up in one.
Rose is being raised by her mother at the start of the story but soon in, terrible things happen, and Rose is sent away after someone dies. But as things keep going we're introduced to a magical world in which Rose enters, her fairy tale world she made up. But the darkness following up creeps up and soon all hell breaks loose as a vendetta begins and death comes.
Overall really bright and colorful story with vicious moments, and great themes of loss and trying to fight for a better future. I really enjoyed Rose a lot, as well as her friend/lover. I did think it wrapped up a BIT too nicely but overall it was enjoyable quick read that I say is worth it for fans of things like Something is killing the children and fantasy mixed together.

Sacrificers ups the stakes here with our little birdy boy Pigeon goes full God of War on these fucking gods playing games with his people.
This goes truly insane with how vicious and badass Pigeon becomes. Easily one of the best character turns and after 7 issues of this poor dude being abused and used it's so refreshing to see him take matters into his own hands. On the flipside you got Solanna and her life is becoming worse and worse, as once a god child being treated like garbage. Such a big change for both characters, and really well done.
While a bit overly narrated at points, this is still a great read. Ricky Rick is killin it!
