A okay comeback for this crew. After the parallel earth garbage storyline this is ten times better. Great character moments, decent art. Liked Erik anger creating him into a monster. Overall solid.

I grew up with anime in the 90s and early 2000s and Trigun was a big one.

I was not a fan.

However, I figured I'd give it a go when Dark Horse said they'd be putting out the fancy deluxe editions like Berserk. And at first I was a little eh on it, but by the end I'm excited to pickup the next volume.

Basically the start is Vash, our main hero, has a bounty on his head. The first half is him dealing with getting hunted down by regular folks and such. And then there's a long drag with him on a train trying to stop a bad guy. Easily the weakest part of the book.

Luckily the second half kicks it up big time when Legato makes his appearance. Letting Vash know soon Knives will be reborn. We have no clue who that is, but you will by the end of this volume. Legato and his band of evil doers def make the series move much quicker, intense fights, and epic cliffhangers. This also introduces the fan favorite Wolfwood, and he's great. Gives good humor on type of great serious moments.

The series won me over big time by the end, and was very happy with that.

A 4 out of 5.

Wasn't bad but also...I guess I don't really get it?

Basically using Robin Hood stories but in a medieval type setting. Which I guess if DC can do it now, why can't others. But this series seems to be well loved, and maybe I shouldn't just read "Tales from Nottingham" and instead start from a main book. However, these were good, mostly. It's a bunch of individual stories, my favorite probably being the the fable one, took ideas from the old, and gave it a fresh spin. the first one felt a bit long, and maybe that's why couldn't fully invest myself in it. But overall not bad for fans of the genre!

A 3 out of 5.

Fly Me To The Moon still staying strong 25 volumes in.

I really enjoyed Nasa's small background. Seeing him as a kid, how he viewed studying, and in general doesn't seem to have changed. And his drive to help his wife achieve her dream is super admirable and sad if he doesn't.

I kept wondering why we saw so much of the other couple in the last volume and this. It seems soon it'll all connect by the end of this volume.

A 4 out of 5.

A weird one. I don't think this was for me.

Basically a high school girl the size of a ant, wakes up one day in a apartment with a shut in who drinks all days and has no life or job. She has to figure a way to co-live with this loser, and the other side of the book has the loser unsure if she's too drunk to realize there's a human the size of a ant living in her dirty apartment with her.

It's just nothing really interesting to me. The situation is silly/weird enough but it's not funny or interesting enough for me to care what happens to these characters sadly. I really don't like the drunk loser, she has no redeeming qualities, and the little ant girl is cool but when they bring another who's like her by the end I'm just more like "huh" then "oh wow" and that's never a good thing. Art isn't bad though at all.

For strange and weird, this might be for you. For me not so much. I do wanna thank Netgallery for providing me with a ARC for a fair and honest review.

Enjoyed the first Dark Knights of steel. This followup is honestly a snoozefest, Slade sucks even in this universe.

Between the house of M crossover, villains not living up to their potential (why even use purple man?) to Zemo never ending fucking boring return. The only good thing about this arc was songbird.

While not as good as his Moon Knight this series is still fun as heck. I love Thor here, and Captain Marvel even has a badass moment. Superhero funness!

Loving all the building blocks in this series. Also the designs and creepy feel to the villains are so good.

Not as strong as the first two but still very enjoyable. This time it's Tim and Damien teaming up and I like how different they made each Robin. With Tim focusing on undercover work Bruce does a lot, and hacking skills, Damien understands where he comes from but like Bruce, he puts sometimes even his friends in the dark. Leaving Damien conflicted but also learning. Overall solid!
