Okay this is SUPER cute.
Yamada (That's it, every anime/manga with this name is winning) is a girl who's starting to fall for Kase-San. She's a cool girl who runs track, kind of has boyish features, but she's 100% a girl and this makes Yamada's heart flutter.
What I love about this is their crush grows quick and you can tell how much they like each other throughout. The ending is adorable as well. Overall this is a series I'll for sure be reading way more of.

A dark tale of a girl who's suffering long, horrible, dark dreams. The pacing is oddly done, jumping around from dream to real life. Sometimes was hard to tell what was happening. I also felt like the characters didn't fully connect for me. I did like the art a lot, and the dialogue was solid, poor dad in this was just trying his best. I liked the idea more than the execution overall but it wasn't a bad read at all. If like a dark twist, dealing with depression and false dreams, this would be for you.
A weird mix up of traditional fantasy at the start but soon worlds connect from all different types of genre. We get a military soldier unit, we get mini titan creatures, magic users, ect. A lot of it feels weird mash up but at the same time the comedy of ONE from one piece and mob psycho does come through to make some scenes pretty funny. Also the art is solid but not mind-blowing, but some cool fight scenes with bloody endings to some characters. I'm not fully sold but I'd check out volume 2 and see if it grows on me!
Ooooh so not we're having mind games? Mari goes on a little date with her friend to try and remember thinks for Mari. Oh if you haven't been reading someone is inside Mari. To be exact a older guy is in her. And now his memories are fading, and it's becoming harder to be in control, while the more he remembers about Mari. It's still intriguing, but how is this gonna wrap up in just two more volumeS?
God I love Haru so much.
There's just something magical about a main lead who knows her worth, and tries to improve, loves being a sex worker, but also cares about so many around her, but also won't take shit from losers. This is a great showcase for her, and even in dark situations like when the lead captain comes being a complete and utter rapist loser, she tries to hold it together. She also gets to enjoy some bombass sex with a mysterious older guy, fun fun! The ending makes me worried though.

Tried the anime, couldn't get into it. Tried the manga....still can't get into it. I just don't seem to care about the character, the teacher is okay, but the overall storyline just seems....dumb? I dunno maybe just not for me. Glad everyone else seems to be loving it though!
A shift in the main character. Gina takes over, but it's still really charming. I feel this is the first book to add a lot more dialogue and explanation, which might be a bit much for certain kids. But either way we get deeper into the magic system which is cool but most of all we travel through Gina's grief over what happened and who they lost, which I loved. Overall very solid still but not as good as the last few volumes.
This one becomes bit convoluted. But overall still fun thanks to the cast. And like how Hilo gets to do something. But overall it just feels way to big in scope at times, and not enough development despite some great moments like the new reality and family for Gina. Overall still enjoyable and my daughter always enjoys reading it at bedtime with me.
Getting better and better each volume but not hitting the 4 yet. I'd settle on a 3.5.
Our main lead Rin really has great moments with his brother. They feel like brothers and it works really well. Rin also gets to spend time with the girl of his dreams but is attacked by a demon. Tus we get a pretty great fight that ends almost in a loss but saved by a new big boobie hero. We all love those, don't we?
Overall still not amazing but it's a nice slow burn fun time. A 3.5 out of 5.
