Pretty much same feelings. It's solid, fun, first arc being the strongest part imo. I like Panther and his entire support cast for sure.

Old Review: It's more of a 3.5 but I'ma score it a 4 because it's a lot of fun even at it's worst. This is the best run on BP you can read at this point. They take the character seriously, he's well crafted, great supporting cast, and you see multiple sides to him. I really loved the art too, feeling fresh at all times, and giving us some great action scenes with our favorite Wakanda. Overall if you want to know more about the Black Panther, check this run out, you won't be disappointed.

Blue Lock continues to be highly entertaining.

Isagi has to prove himself here more than ever. With a 2 vs 2 match it's not a whole team to rely on, giving the pressure all to the main man. He also has to decide to take out a former teammate, leaving us with a intense and a bit more emotional match than I expcted.

Overall the manga shook things up here and broke regular formula but in a smart way.

I gotta say...this didn't do it for me at all.

Tom Taylor is easily one of my favorite writers. Especially when he writes elseworld stuff because they're refreshing, fun, daring, exciting and all of that is lacking in Titans. Titans reads as one of the safest books around town, with a couple of decent conversations between friends, but overall I found it very boring. I think the fact I knew everyone was going to be fine despite Wally getting shot right at the start of the first issue. Art is solid enough but also not remarkable.


Overall...just eh.

The Outsider first half is some of the best stuff King has EVER written. The second half? Not so much.

This isn't to say I think the second half is bad. It's a fun monster hunting storyline that mostly works but fails to live up to the tension building first half.

So the story starts with a detective named Ralph who's about to publicly arrest a man named Terry for the murder of a child who was viciously murdered. He has MULTIPLE witness, finger prints, everything he pretty much needs to close this case easy. However, he makes a mistake. Once he takes Terry in, evidence comes out that Terry was NOT in town but at a public gathering with multiple witnesses and video proof. Not Ralph is stuck between figuring out what the fuck is happening.

The first half is thrilling, nail biting, how can this be storyline. It keeps you on edge, excellent character motivation and some of the best dialogue King has ever done. I think the fact you're not sure what is happening and what the truth is leaves you as shocked as the characters in the actual story.

About half way we get a reveal that expands this from a murder mystery basically to a full on supernatural event. It won't be for everyone but even with the twist I was still very invested on where we were going. And then around the last 4th of the book, the pacing felt odd, and I started to see this would end in a simpler way than I would have liked. Still some shocking deaths, great imagery, and a creepy antagonist. And I did grow to like a large number of the characters but overall the last 1/4th was weaker in comparison, especially to the first half.

A 4 out of 5 for me.

Hell yeah! Onward to Kingdom Come. Batman and Superman go to the Kingdom Come Universe to get back David but things aren't as happy and bright here. Great art, fun storylines, and I'm back into this series once more.

Alot stronger issue than last one. The Teen Titans go to a convention for themselves, a new villain pops up, and Robin has to figure out what he wants. Overall fun, exciting, and great art.

Greg Pak knocks it out of the park with this one.

City Boy is about a guy named Cameron Kim who can actually speak to cities. Basically the cities form into living beings with him near and he can talk and control them. Basically similar to Swamp Thing with plants, but him with cities. Unique power set with a fun character who's been through the ringer to say the least.

Cameron's character growth really works for me. A angry kid at the start, who learns to accept and let go. Be something greater. Getting to see him interact with some of the most hopeful and best heroes like Superman, Nightwing, and even Swamp Thing helped build him into a new person. And him letting go of the past, of his abonnement issues, really worked for me.

A very nice mini, and introduction to the character, check this one out if you can!

A fun, brutal, and somewhat depressing story of the two boy Detectives and their friendly ghost friends having to survive a new threat.

The negative here would probably be the fact the story goes a little weird at the end. Trying to understand what exactly happened can be confusing, had to re-read a few pages a couple of times.

But besides that I really dug this. The two leads are great, they feel like friends which is nice, and their other friends that join them are great. From different time periods from 80s and 90s, it makes for a nice group mix. The deaths of those characters and how they became ghost is really sad sometimes but you get more attached to them. The love story is simple but cute. And the imagery behind a lot of nasty monsters is sickening but in the best way.

A nice little horror tale you should check out!

Arts good, story idea is great, but the actual telling feels...off? Almost a bit boring. Which is crazy cause Waid on World's Finest is KILLING it but this story is lackluster feel to it overall.

A nice opening, brutal when needs to be, but Zoe art makes it more upbeat somehow. I'm not 100% digging Vlad's role though.
