Is someone spying on me and my wife?
This feels like shit we go through. Eating each other food without telling one another, sexy time denied, making cute gestures that fail, going on cute dates, this is some wholesome, cute, and fun, with a great lead couple. If like quirky but cute rom-coms this one is a must read IMO.

This was actually pretty good!
It's about two girls growing up, or one girl really and her best friend, and just going through life. Romance sparks between her best friend and another girl, while the main lead begins to feel for another one of her friends. It's the slice of life stuff I really enjoy mixed with the making movies and movie props info I never knew about. The art is a little rough at times, but the style it's going for it makes sense.
A 3.5 out of 5, I'll bump it to a 4 for Goodreads. Thanks Netgallery for an advance copy!

I think this one just isn't for me.
I couldn't get into the characters at all despite thinking the idea of it was something new. I just didn't like the flow or dialogue and didn't suck me in like I hoped. It is a webtoon too, so similar to a lot of other webtoons, they look anime/manga feel but not exactly there. But the art itself isn't bad and still very colorful and fun.
I think people should give this a go, and I thank Netgalley for a Advance review copy, but this one didn't hit it for me.

This team always get me hyped for a book. Love criminal, but everything they do is either great, amazing, or atleast good.
I think sadly where the body was falls into the last for me.
It's really just a slice of life of this small little town with some pieces of shit people, but also multilayered people since no one is just "good" or "bad". I think the idea of this book is good but the characters, all of them, fall a little flat in the end. I didn't get attached to a single one which kind of surprise me. I did enjoy the overall plot but it also felt a bit aimless. This book wasn't as strong as their previous work. The art though, as always, remained pretty strong throughout.

I was really surprised by this one~!
You'd think from the cover this be a bit more on the smut side, but it really isn't. Yes our main lead girl is a horny, but more curious, girl just trying to find herself in this world filled with a bunch of other people clueless about everything. When she meets a boy whom if she touches he can make them say their truest, deepest thoughts at that moment, makes for some entertaining, sometimes funny, sometimes adorable situations. But this is a coming of age story, some fun humor added, and a bit raunchy at times.
Well worth the read and I will for sure check out more! Thanks Netgalley for the advance review!

It returns to being fun once more!
This time the Black Cat gets screwed with crossover of the King in Black but remains highly entertaining and wonderfully drawn. Some great fights and a cool upgrade to the cat herself. Then we get a one shot of the Queen Cat, and it's not as strong but it's fun, and I like the Felicia has to teach these newbies who's boss around town.
a 3.5 out of 5, I'll bump it to a 4.

Damn this one ended kind of meh.
It starts off strong. Batgirl and Supergirl team up. Batgirl trying to be more independent and do her own thing. The chemistry with the cast is still very strong. The Damien issue is actually cute and sad at the same time. However, the last few issues, the major "bad guys" felt kind of weak, the crossovers with Batman INC were meh, and it didn't have the same feeling.
I wish it continued, I feel it was rushed thanks to New 52. A 3 out of 5.

Found this one a bit weaker than the others.
It wraps up the last arc in a satisfying manner and Mieruko growth is nice. But the new girl, while a interesting introduction and can be fun, didn't really grab me. I don't know really how to feel about her, and this volume felt a bit shorter than others having a lot of extra drawings in the back of the volume to make up the page count.

Black Cat gets real good as she has to outsmart her old master.
This is the kind of exciting, yet bittersweet title I was hoping for. The way it opens and then closes is wonderful and Black Cat getting it on with her Bi self is fun to watch. I'm not sure where we'll go with that, but I'm intrigued. I also enjoyed the annual, while not as strong, still remained a ton of fun.

Secret Warriors, Vol. 1: Nick Fury, Agent Of Nothing
Brian Michael Bendis, Jonathan Hickman, Stefano Caselli
Kind of a cool look into Shield after being broken up after the events of Secret Invasion.
It's a fun story. Nick Fury is as mysterious as ever leading a group of people to handle situations no one else dares to go. Less superheroish and more spy thriller. I did enjoy that tone and the characters were neat enough but the whole working for the bad guy the whole time plotline gets boring, and I just felt like the plot didn't give enough to these characters to do something special.
