The fight for the body of Spectre! Entertaining for sure, and a funny bit at the end, but also a dark future for our favorite revenge spirit? Let's find out next!

Man the scope of No Man's Land is pretty goddamn impressive even if don't love every story.

The main focus of this story is batman realizing he can NOT do this alone. This isn't as dour as the last volume and it's boosted more by the fact he has to rely on his friends and family to make it through this event. Even better is the fact the connecting stories are far more interesting. Nightwing's story of breaking into blackgate and out, Robin working together with nightwing, Cassandra Cain becoming Batgirl, Bruce reuniting his family. All of this works really well.

On top of that you get a story of Bruce rescuing Poison Ivy and it's actually REALLY well done and makes Clayface a true piece of shit (Which is funny cause I like him alot in Rebirth). Also I won't fail to mention that all this moves a lot quicker and better than previous volume.

My only downsides is Azarul or whatever is still a boring as fuck character. Oh and the Cat Woman stories that close this one out are just okay. Seem a bit too typical for me even though she's badass, the plots themselves are okay.

Overall, a pretty great collection and I'm actually excited to get into the next part. A 4 out of 5.

It's such a difference once Greg Rucka comes back it's crazy.

So the last volume felt like weird side stories all put together despite being the correct order of reading. This is a lot better as Greg Rucka writes the majority of these stories. Batman decides enough is enough and goes to Jim to try to work things out. This is easily the best arc of the entire No Man's Land because it has heart. But before Batman can do that Two Face decides to kidnap Jim and put him on trial. Leaving a very tense court room issue.

We also get a few fun issues of Catwoman that surprisingly don't completely suck. On top of that I even enjoyed the Robin and Nightwing issues here, both help move the story forward. The Lex stuff was decent but basically a way out for the No Man Land storyline to continue.

The best moments come in the last few issues where the Joker strikes. Joker as always is a insane piece of shit and what he does is disgusting and you probably seen it on plenty of list of "Top worst things the Joker has done" but it's the aftermath that really shines. It shows how strong and important Jim is to the batfamily while also showing Bruce is vulnerable at times for a friend.

Overall, this event was WAY too long but it finished very strong. Up and down, but if it finishes it strong, I can be happy. A 4 out of 5.

Art is pretty great, some really badass looking designs and fights. But the writing? Pretty much the exact opposite, garbage at best. The story blend together to make the most typical 90's garbage storylines, big bad ugly fat villains, and stupid as hell monologs that gave me a headache. Great art though.

This was excellent.

Salina is back in town trying her best to be a "hero" again. Most believed she died in No Man's Land but we all knew better. Cats with 9 lives and all. And so Catwoman comes back on the scene with a new costume and all. On top of that a old friend comes back to her explaining someone out there is murdering hookers. And so Salina takes it upon herself to find out who and why since the police don't care.

It's thrilling to see Salina and her inside thoughts. Brubaker writes an extremely likeable lead with some great action and motivation to boot. A villain who is horrifying but not downright evil. A corrupt city of Gotham that's disgusting to live in yet so fun to read. This is one of the best first arcs for a superhero comic I've read in a long time. The art is also fantastic, and fits the overall tone and feel of the series.

I can't wait to read more.

Closer to a 3.5, uneven, but the last issue was REALLY good.

Basiclaly Daredevil goes to hell. Finds out he's being betrayed this whole time, but not a spoiler, we all knew that would happen. However, what happens to him is kind of unfair justice we come to expect with a ending that was a little cliche for me. However, the last issue honoring Matt's Legacy and determination in life as both a person and hero is excellent, and the art is fantastic as always. While this second half was shaky for Chip's run it's still a great run worth reading.

A 4 out of 5.

A great follow-up to a excellent first volume.

This one has Salina's friend as the focus, and it's a great way to give some character growth to a character I knew nothing about. Even more so is when she gets in danger, Salina does everything she can to help her friend out. While not as explosive as the last volume this gritty crime fighting story still hits home and works well with great art style to boot. Issue 5 is a standalone but a treat of a story as well. Give me more! A 4 out of 5.

Another cute volume!

This time our boys make their decision to begin dating. I really enjoy the fact that dating in this, no matter the attraction to whatever gender, is treated with ease. Like it's natural, as it should feel and be, but it's nice to see that here. I also really enjoyed that both our main leads push to see if their feelings will be taken, and it doesn't always work out.

Overall if like romance, comedy, and heartfelt moments, this series does a lot right.
