I read these YEARS ago but decided to give it another go.

So first 3 parter is about a girl who gets out of prison and trying to figure out life. But once she does, she's handed a untraceable gun and told who killed both her husband and child. She wants to exact revenge, but she'd not such a bad person at heart, and tries to figure out through visiting her old "friends" what really happened. Second story is a bar guy's whole life was ruined years ago by being set up with pictures of children on his computer and he finds out who planted them there. He's also given the opportunity to go after the one who did it.

Both stories are solid looks into pieces of shit we know in life. A lot of it rides on the fact we as human seek revenge after being done wrong. And so it's easy to understand where both of these characters come from. Who's bad or good is very easily washed away with everyone being kind of a scumbag here. I will say I enjoyed the over the top cartoony art, made it more fun to read. And the pacing is solid, very quick. Stories are interesting enough.

The dialogue could use some work. Some feels forced as hell and stereotypical of characters based off their race. But I've come to basically except that from Azzarello, he has a tendency to do over the type stereotypes for any characters who aren't white.

I believe this book might been aimed for a younger crowd.

Our main lead, Iruma, is given a contract by a demon lord who asks for him to be his grandson. It's a weird stuff, but just strange enough to get me intrigued. Through becoming part of this demon world he has to learn to summon demons, meet new demons who can potentioally be love interest, and even learn to fight and defend himself.

It's just that none of it was very interesting, least for me. I couldn't get attached to any character, Iruma especially, way too much of a people pleaser. I also didn't like the demon world in here, reminded me too much of school, like a Harry Potter demon academy. The art was solid enough though and I think for kids or maybe young teens, this might be a solid choice.

This volume is stronger than the first, and while it still has flaws, it's just a better crafted volume.

There's a few short stories in here. Or one shots or two shots. I personally like these. Really only the final arc is a 3 part and it helps explain the Minute Men and also the lore of the whole 100 bullets and why Agent Graves does all these offers of exacting revenge. It's much needed to expand the universe and understand why these characters do what they do. The other strong storyline is a Ice Cream man who gets his past revealed to him in a way he probably didn't expect, but a nice twist on that. I also enjoyed a waitress barely making it in life and finding out the truth and exacting revenge. The other stories were good but a bit boring at points, the gambling one went on too long.

Overall, stronger than the first, around a 3.5 but I'll bump it to a 4.

Mark Millar gets a bit heavy handed with his politics, and this is mid 2000's politics, so it's kind of a bore.

Saying that there's some really solid moments. Hawkeye really gets to shine but also gets kind of screwed here at the same time. I also really liked the bad guys winning in the first half, let us have actual big stakes in this one. But everyone is still really miserable and pieces of shit and not at all like the Avengers you want saving the world.

But still for a blockbuster feel superhero story it's fine, fun, stupid, but worth checking out for being different. A 3 out of 5.

A nice tribute. Some stories better than others. To my surprise, I've liked Adams Flash run but didn't blow me away but he had the best story in here. The others were okay. The new run has a weird but interesting start. A 3 out of 5.

This is the strongest volume yet.

Loop is a guy just trying to make it by when he meets Graves who gives him a suitcase to kill his father who left him as a baby. So Loop visits his old man, only to find out he wants to get to know him. I was actually surprised how gripping this story was, and how Loop became such a likeable character along with his father. The end result of course is a lot more fucked up, but just goes to show you even the "good" guy always has alternative motives.

Great stuff. A 4 out of 5.

Easily the best Mighty Morphin has been so far.

You have Zordon's old buddy come back to "unite" earth with his people. But we all know that's bullshit. And Zordon ain't no idiot. The stakes have never been higher either as we're about to get a invasion on earth. Also, we leard about Zedd, and holy shit his backstory is FUCKED up. I loved it so much.

A 5 out of 5.

This was pretty funny at points, little sad at others, but my main gripe with this book is how it was presented as a review copy. A double spread for every page, making it where had to zoom in each time to read a page, made it very difficult to read. On top of it having a copyright note every single page. Probably not the best idea when trying to have someone read and enjoy the book.

But it is pretty solid storytelling. Very newspaper design for the storytelling but a deeper, a lot more sexual, than that of course. I believe this might be about the author's life, and like any person, we depending on people. She might a bit too much at points, but that's the point of the entire book. Sure plenty can relate.

Really good!

Basically takes place two years after the events of Curse of the White Knight. Joker is dead, Batman in Prison, Harley taking care of her kids. Now there's a new killer in town and they're attacking some big names, from movies long ago. This leads Harley to get involved and see if she can find who it is and stop them.

Some really great work here with Harley. Her growth in this series is really amplified here, with excellent moments both in the past and current. I also thing her as a mother is great, and works well for this version. The new characters introduced are okay, feel little underdeveloped, but her and Duke are great, as is Bruce.
