Fun story, return of the Silver Banshee, but for some reason, this run is lacking the punch I'd hope for.
A really cool look into a man who's broken up over the fact he did something against his morals.
Superman had killed Zod and his crew when he had the chance to. They were monsters, killing thousands, and when they were depowered, Superman decided to get rid of them for good. In doing so, his guilt eats at him and slowly he begins to lose it. So he decides to travel through space to find his calling, and in doing so creates some great stories of a man trying to find himself again.
There's a lot to like here. Superman helping other aliens, him visiting isolated planets to see if he wants to be alone forever, coming in contact with new lifeforms, some trying to eat him. Eventually we get to Mongul and Warworld, and kind of like the recent event with Warworld in action comics, it's solid but overstays its welcome at time. But overall this was a great look into the mind of Superman just trying to find himself again and be the best he could be.

Got Dazzler who broke up with her cheating boyfriend not having a great night. She calls her main girl Jubilee who is all like "Hey girl, I got you" and they go out drinking. But then Boom Boom, that big titty goddess comes over and it becomes a threesome of happiness with drinks and dancing and...wait! VAMPIRES? That's right. Vampires come into the picture and, oh shit, is that Wolverine!? Yep Laura also shows up to make this sexy threesome into a fucking FOURSOME of love. Now these girls fight back with their wits, tits, and asses.
This is freaking fun as hell. Got boom boom using her tits as weapons to shoot out boom boom attacks. Got Laura slicing motherfuckers up. You got everyone complimenting Dazzler's dump truck booty. I mean this is what I can hope for when having a fun time with a comic. Not everything needs to be so serious and this was the break I needed.

Rogue Sun stays the strongest title in the Black Radiant Universe, with Dylan becoming a more interesting charcter by the issue.
The slow growth of Dylan becoming a selfish asshole to a selfless hero is great to watch. This time his siblings summon someone to aid him once more but not his father but a knight who used to be t he wielder of the Rogue Sun. This leads Dylan to learn to fight a lot better but as he goes against someone who hurts someone close to him he begins to question if he's a hero, which results into a shocking but somewhat foreseeable future.
I do think the twist was a bit too obvious. Or maybe like Dylan I don't trust a lot of people, so was a little to easy to see coming. Saying that it was handled well enough, Dylan and his family are a mess but great to watch grow, art stays top notch with some cool fights, and overall a blast. The do your own adventure in issue 6 was a bit too gimmicky for me but also kind of fun.

Read this years ago. About the same as I remember.
This is actually a really slow build up to our "Heroes" getting their powers. It doesn't even happen till issue 3. So it's a bit of a slow build and to be honest not super interesting one. Once they do get their powers it does speed up and get better. Watching each have to get used to their powers and being separated at first is fun.

Main story is still strong, Cyborg superman is creepy, some really fun moments. Side stories are snoozers.
Summertime Rendering is when you take Erased, mix it in with some brutal kills, and add a bit of a supernatural entity trying to take over (maybe destroy) the world.
Shinpei returns back to his hometown which is on a island, perfect set up for some horror elements, and upon returning runs into his childhood friend who was basically like a sister to him though she might have some feelings for him. And when I say feelings, I mean she wanna get it on with him. But this is manga so let's goooooooooooo-- I mean, ick.
And anyway, he's returning on a not so happy occasion, his childhood friend is dead. And Ushio (the girl who passed) sister is the one crushing on him. Either way it starts off as a goodbye to their sister/friend when all of a sudden someone comes into the picture and begins murdering people and then BAM...we're back to the same moment Shinpei is coming back to the island.

The mystery itself is intriguing. I do want to know who and why this is happening. The characters are good though a bit cliché, and Shinpei can be kind of a idiot while also being really smart at times. Guess that's how it goes. I will say the kills are BRUTAL as hell. Some really screwed up deaths for sure.
One thing I think is a bit off is the pacing, it's iffy at times with the exposition going to heavy at moments.
But overall I'm interested in more. Probably around a 3.5 but I'll bump it to a 4.

Superman doesn't have many Omnibus so I was a bit surprised when grabbing this that it would do the stories between the famous Man of Steel Era and Death of Superman. I hadn't heard much of the storis of that era so had very little knowledge if they were good or bad. Now after 800 pages later I can safely say this Era is really interesting, slightly flawed, but overall worth looking into for fans of the man of Steel.
The stories start off right from where the storylines ended in the Man of Steel books that came out. So that means Clark is dealing with the fact he had to kill Zod and his people to stop them from murdering thousands of more. The stories start simple enough, kind of good old campy fun with Superman saving the day. Silver Banshee makes a return for a moment. We have Gangbuster start showing back up with considers with Jose getting the ability to walk again thanks to some LexCorp products.
Then things get a bit darker when we reveal who Gangbuster is. From there Superman has some serious trouble figuring out what's wrong with him both physically and mentally. He visits his family one more time, this time thinking it's time to take a very long vacation. He exiles himself from Planet earth and goes into the stars to find the answers he's seeking.
And this is where the strongest part of the entire Omnibus is. Superman traveling around different planets, meeting different species, while helping them, and also helping himself in his own way. It's really charming, and digs deep into someone who is wounded and hurt after his actions while trying to do better. It has moments of sadness, of triumph, and eventually a fight with Mongul on Warworld. So it's all leading up to major events of Clark becoming the Man of Steel again we all know and love.
When we return to earth things settle down more into routine again and while there's some cool storylines with Matrix and eradicator is interesting enough, we do fall back into one shots that aren't as interesting. I especially felt they dropped the ball a bit on Cat's storyline as well as Jimmy's being a bit TOO goofy for me. I also had no real love for the Lex Luthor storyline in this Omnibus as the whole evil corporate mastermind felt kind of played out a bit here.
Overall though, while I don't think any of these stories are earthshattering, it was really nice to see Supes go into Space, help others, and help himself mentally. Sometimes we all need a little break to figure ourselves out, and I enjoyed that aspect of the book a ton. And while some of start and ending are a bit weaker, there's overall Omnibus is a solid one. A 3.5 out of 5.

The first two issues are solid but feels more world building, last two are insane.
Basically we have the calling of a new ranger, or omega ranger here, and while I love the art in all 4 issues, issue 10 is pretty dang boring in comparison to the rest of the storyline. Issue 9 is also slightly boring and while cool to see Trini becoming a major character more and more it feels too safe.
Issue 11 and 12 explode as the Rangers get backstabbed multiple times by multiple people and creatures to a almost bitter ending. How they'll survive is beyond me but I appreciate the high stakes. A 4 out of 5.

Super cute still. Aoki comes clean thanks to the help of his buddy but then he starts to realize maybe it started as a misunderstanding but he really is catching feels for Ida. At the same time Ida doesn't understand what it means to "like" someone but as he sees more and more of Aoki he starts to feel SOMETHING.
