Very long but does have some great moments.

I think the Edge of Spider-verse (Which is in there too) that has vampire-like family members springing off Murlan, yep, the one that almost killed Peter, hunting down Spider-Man and Spider-Woman characters from all different universes. So the Spider-Man start to come together to fight back and basically two teams, Superior and Peter. This leads to jumping around different places and universes and having a cat and mouse style game. It's fun but also the villains are SO fucking boring. And really hurt the overall story. They're brutal, which is cool, but they lack any type of interest beyond killing Spider-Men/Women.

Overall a fun adventure due to the different Spider people talking, and not bad by any means, but this isn't Spider-verse the movies, and wow are they SO much better.

This was pretty great!

Basically Buddy is just a dad/husband trying to be a superhero and provide the best he could be. If you don't know who animal man is he has the power to absorb the abilities of animals around him and use them as a weapon or to save someone. But when he goes on his hunt to be a hero he's face either another who can control animals. Leading to a brutal confrontation. We have various one shots after, one particular one that stands out about the road runner coyote like character who gets killed in panel and it's breaking the 4th wall but mostly as a way to show violence and why it's needed to invoke reaction in stories. It's actually kind of touching and really well done.

The rest of the stories are solid, not as strong as those first 5 issues but still good. Animal man being a hero for the animals and trying to protect them makes 100% sense and really works well for his character growth. I also enjoyed his time with the JLA and getting all the benefits of them. The origin story of how he got his powers and why is a little iffy though.

Overall this is before Morrison smoked a bunch of crack and made stories almost impossible to understand unless you yourself lit up or sniffed, but either way this is well worth the read. A 4 out of 5.

Having the rangers traveling the galaxy with the psycho Drakkon is a ton of fun.

The first half is them trying to fix their ship and it has a classic space western feel to it. But we learn about a hunter of the power rangers, what happened to her family as a child, and why she hates them so much. This is a solid fun story but it's the second half that really shines. The Rangers work together to try and save a race of aliens when the Empyreal comes down to rid their race from their planet. It's a intense battle, way more cooler and screwed up than I thought Power Rangers was honestly capable of.

This is easily one of the best if not best book in the series so far for me. A 5 out of 5.

No mutants, big hulking shredder, or anything of the sorts. This time we have humans being, well humans, and attacking Mutants.

This time a group of humans target mutants, taking out Hobs crew first and kidnapping most of them. When Hobs has to turn to the turtles, together they fight back. But will this fight leave any casualties?

A thoroughly entertaining volume. Watching humans be piece of shit, just regular people, was a lot of fun. The twist and turns on why and what they're doing was pretty good too. This also had some really cool action scenes and leo got to shine big time for me as leader.

A 4 out of 5.

The rangers have to work together to break people out of a dome like zone made my Zodd's crazy ass. Badass fighting, new team member reveals himself, and a ending that is both sad but crucial to the plot makes this one of the most exciting Mighty Morphin arcs yet! 4.5 out of 5.

The first story is excellent. Joker is scary, and Batman is also terrifying in his own way. The rest range from decent to good, but nothing great.

Sometimes I just wanna chill, turn off my brain, and watching 5 girls all want a piece of a nerdy weirdo guy.

Overall this is a very fun manga. This continues the trend of five sisters, all secretly having crushes and admiring their mentor as he tutors them. Eventually they go to a fireworks festival where our main hero has to decide what these girls mean to him while also discovering what one of the sisters has secretly been up to.

Overall cute and funny with solid art. WHO WILL END UP WITH WHO is the question.

Probably the weakest series that ties into Black Radiant series.

This just hits too many cliches and boring tropes, without zero interesting story beats. The main character lacks the charm needed to be hooked to her plot. Her mother just goes along with things far too quickly. The whole futuristic but not TOO far distant feels feels too disconnected. Overall besides that art, which is great most of the time, I wasn't feeling this one much at all.

A really solid first issue to a new series.

I don't think it's amazing, and a little confusing, but once get grounded into the story it becomes fun. I love the fact Cassandra is a key player, a fan favorite and my personal favorite Bat Member. I also enjoyed Xanthe, our main lead. They are both a powerful fight but also a fun go-getter type. Art is very colorful and supernatural, so works well for the tone.

I'm eager to see how this series expands. I'm hoping it continues to become more interesting.

A really fun ride with a okay destination.

Batman is basically on the trails of both Riddler and Catwoman after they stole something TERRIBLE that now everyone wants. It's basically a giant Heist comic with superheroes and villains and Batman trying his best to deal with all these fuckers. The art is fantastic, the Help, a new villain as far as I know, is awesome. Batman himself figuring shit out like a true detective is great. The ending, the whole reasoning, is a bit silly but makes sense with the title but I won't like if it took out some of the momentum the series had going for it.

This is a brutal take into a crazy heist with a lot of killers, so be ready. A 3.5 out of 5.
