A really fun crossover.
Basically this is a closure volume for Peter's ultimate family. May and Gwen get to say things they wanted to say to Peter. Miles gets some nice lessons in from Peter too on how to be a Spider-Man. Some great art, funny moments, and touching heartfelt scenes. Just Mysterio is OKAY as a villain and the weakest part.

From the insanely highly rated last volume I didn't expect this one to live up to it, and it didn't, but it's still very solid.
Basically Miles is dealing with not wanting to be Spider-Man anymore. It's a hard road to be a hero, and sometimes loss is too much. And while he's trying to live his best life with his dad, things aren't going well mentally. Soon he also meets some new "heroes" that need some guidance and help as well.
The stuff with Gwen speaking to miles and the whole arc of Spider-Woman is really well done. I also really liked the cloak and dagger story even if it felt it needed more time to breath. Bombshell is interesting enough, and Taskmaster is still a POS in this universe, so that means a ton of fun. This doesn't go for big stakes, but it highlights Miles and other grounded heroes and helps flush out the ultimate universe more.

So this is written by two writers, and you can TELL the difference.
The Ultimates and X-Men are not written by Bendis and they are...well to be frank, pretty fucking poor. They feel like side stories within their own book. I absoutely dreaded getting through the slog of the X-Men story with Rogue as the main focus point, she sucked here. And the Ultimates was messy with messy art.
Luckily the main event and Spider-Man are written by Bendis and are far far better. In fact you can read Ultimate Spider-Man stuff by itself and it makes sense and does a great job of helping Miles grow in new and exciting ways, a secret unleashed, and Bombshell even gets some great character development. Overall the Ultimate Spider-Man stuff is great.
The main event, the world and all it's heroes, and the dick Reed Richard, aka, The Maker, find a way to stop the big gigantic Galactus. It's fun, over the top, dumb at times, but still has some great moments for Spidy, Reed, and even Thor. Overall a okay event.
So X-men and Ultimates suck ass, but Spider-Man is great, and the main event is decent enough. A 2.5 out of 5.

It's hard being a reaper these days.
We start with our lead, Jessica Harrow, as she reaps souls and brings them to the afterlife when they die. At first it seems like a simple task, but as we get further into the world, we realize she can't remember HOW she died. All the other reapers can but not her. And when she learns the truth, it might be too late to stop what's coming.
Overall fun, a bit heartwarming at points, and super cool. Watching Jessica and her friends undercover the truth, only for a certain somebody to be related, and stop the big bag, and we find out this is only the start of the tale is great. The art is also fantastic, with some excellent designs.
Overall a nice sleeper hit, good stuff! 4 out of 5.

Some really great moments between Wally and Barry, Iris and Jessie Quick, and an explosive cliffhanger ending. Art was iffy, though.
Irey gets to showcase her moves, she's adorable, and kicks tons of ass. I'm not loving the whole go back and fix it like it never happened but this is still a ton of fun now.
Art took a nosedive but story still fun if not a little predictable right before the finish line.
It's a decent ending. The whole event felt that way with some great issues mixed with decent. Overall fun but nothing special.
Cute issue with the team up of super sons, Irey and her brother, and Maxine. Cute and fun!
On one hand the Green Goblin returns, which is great. We also get Peter Parker returning after a near perfect death so...
It's a shame. Because the memorial for Peter in the first issue, issue 200, is excellent. It showcases who Peter was and who he could have been. It's sweet, well done, and ruined almost completely by him hiding in the bushes watching everyone at his memorial.
We then get his return and despite me not liking the fact he returned, the actual banter between him and Miles is pretty great. Green Goblin is also a treat, since he's always so fun to watch wrack havoc on innocent people. And watching two Spider-Man go head to head with him is excellent stuff.
Overall, it's good. It's even great at points. But still don't like they brought back Peter. A 3.5 out of 5.
