Immortal Iron Fist is a solid Omnibus though not a great one for me.

The first half is Ed Brubaker and Fraction's run on Iron Fist. Basically Danny having to return home while also dealing with Hydra, while also dealing with the Immortal weapons, while trying to protect his friends and family. Juggling a whole shit load of storylines. I do think that the first arc is great, high speed action, and throws Danny RIGHT into the action. The second arc is decent, mostly Danny dealing with Hydra and their leader. And it's fun but nothing special for me. The final arc is short, and it focuses on Danny going back to living a normal life, setting up his funds to help people, and teaching kids how to fight in a Dojo.

The second half is created by Duane, and I'm not going to butcher his last name but you can see it on the cover, and it's actually more entertaining overall for me. A creature that has hunted the Iron Fist forever is here to kill Danny after Danny learns almost every Iron Fist dies by 33 and he turns 33 in that arc. Leaving for a very fun fight to the near death and then Danny teaming up with friends to stop this creature. The second arc is Danny going with the Immortal weapons into a hell like world to stop them from invading. It's pretty brutal, but the safe ending kind of takes away the steam roll it had.

The book ends with Immortal Weapons each getting a issue to explain their past. Some are excellent like Fat Cobra, Dog Brother, or Tiger's Beautiful Daughter where's Orphan and Spider story were okay.

Overall, it feels uneven for me. There's some great parts, some really weak parts, but mostly it's decent to good. And that's kind of where my score is going. A lot of the volumes I gave a 3, and two volumes a 4, but I think the one shots here with showing the past immortal iron fist range from good to outright bad, and a origin story that was unneeded.

So overall I will rate Immortal Iron Fist Omnibus a 3 out of 5.

5 Individual stories all telling the past and sometimes current times of the Immortal weapons who fought against and alongside the Iron Fist.

Fat Cobra and Dog Brother 1 are easily the best stories here. Dark, twisted, fucked up, yet they make you understand their characters more. Beautiful daughter twist is easy to see coming but still great. Spider and Orphan have decent stories but not great.

Overall fun collection, 3.5, I'll bump it to a 4 on here.

Kind of drags a bit.

Basically opens to having Kazuya try to convince Mizuhara nothing happened between him and Ruka after she slept over. So then eventually Kazuya goes out with friends and lo and behold meets Mizuhara by mistake, but she is in her normal clothes, not rent a girlfriend. This part is okay but kind of boring till the end. Second part has Ruka finally stand up for herself and easily the best part. I'm like Ruka more and more, and Kazuya is a fucking punk ass bitch at this point.

A 3 out of 5.

A decent third issue to tie up the first arc. I think overall Williamson writes a joyful and star in the sky type supes, and I do like that, but not super interested in the Lex saying he'll be good but not scam. It's too obvious. But the art is great and that's a nice plus.

A fun, bit goofy, but weird enough I liked it issue. Basically Spectre visiting some vampires and showing them what it means to hunt and kill.

Super condensed version of Jurassic Park Film but really cute for kids. My daughter especially loved the T-Rex in here and likes me mimicking his roar when he's on the page. She did tell me she was sad the Triceratops is sick though. We never know his fate!

A cute kids book, good for ages 3 and up!

This might be one of my daughter's favorite books. This has Nancy wanting a dog for herself. She takes care of her neighbors dog but realizes the little doggies are a lot of work (They're also ANNOYING but that's for another day) and she gets upset she'll never find one for herself. That's until Frenchy comes into the picture. A much bigger dog they find at the pound and take home.

The illustrations in this book are pretty great, and my daughter LOVES the puppies shown here. She doesn't understand though why our dogs can't be called Frenchy now. Good times.

A 4 out of 5.

Wish it was a bit funnier, to keep my Daughter entertained a bit more throughout. She liked Sandman somewhat (Who she nicked named poopy-sand when he gets hit by water) but she does like Ghost-Spider a lot (Gwen) and she's always happy for her pages of her kicking butt. Good for ages 3+

Probably my favorite collection so far. Hulking dealing with the leader, Rick Jones decent into madness, Marlos faith, Betty being great, and a bitter sweet ending. This all worked for me. A 4.5 out of 5.

Love motel, playing games, teaching crooked arcades a lesson, going to hot tub and having all three girls fall naked in front of you.

This is outrageous.

Also can't stop reading. Maybe for the titties. Maybe cause so dumb. I don't know.
