2023 Review - So my review still stands. I'm not a HUGE fan of Number 1's backstory. The first half is good, but it drags on at points when we're in the middle of a major battle. But huge points for the number 1 fight, and watching our warriors go out with a bang.
Original Read: My reviews might get shorter here because I don't want to spoil anything.
The fight against the number one demon is on. 4 fucking Hashira going head to head with this beast and the dude is STILL standing. A beautiful, vicious, sad, and exciting fight that I loved every moment of. I have to admit though, the backstory of the number 1 didn't do TOO much for me. But the loss of characters and their deaths hit me hard. Brutal but wonderful volume to add to the final few chapters of this grand series.

I dunno if it's just now reading a ton of comics over the years, but Jeph Loeb writing can be really icky at times.
I mean I read a lot of over the top sexual comics but something about some of his writing and the way he has Supergirl half naked most of the time or in a thong is weird. And yes, we can blame the artist on the thong, but the situation feels very much created by Loeb.
Saying that, this is pretty fun story of Supergirl trying to get used to the world again after arriving on earth. Clark wants to protect her, Bruce fears her, Wonder Woman wants to control her (Somewhat) leaving out heroes all deciding to handle things different. Then suddenly Darkseid becomes interested, and well shit gets messy.
Overall, it's not a terrible story. We have some good chemistry between Supergirl and the cast. I think Clark acts a little strange and way overprotected and not in a hopeful, good guy way. More like panicking all the time. I also think everyone is acting a bit out of character.
But the fights are fun, as are the end results to the story and introduction of Supergirl back into the main universe.
A 3 out of 5.

A pretty emotional volume.
Basically Deku is at his breaking point but his friends won't let him push himself into oblivion. It has touching moments of friends reaching out to him, stopping him, while also speaking up for him when everyone deems him as a threat. I also loved the fact we have the crazy psycho Stain returns to teach All Might of all people a little lesson.
Where we go from here is interesting as a new arrival is inbound to help the heroes and she's from AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another fantastic volume of dumbass people being dumb.
This time we have Lori, Chisa, and Kohei going on a trip to visit Lori's little sister to try and get his passport. Of course on the way we have these weird German guys (and a girl) who are similar to Kohei, big "sister" fans in terms of fetishes, which makes for some hysterical moments. On top of that once we get to Lori's sister, of course she won't give him his passport.
As always this is laugh out loud funny stuff, with situations so over the top, and so crude, you can't help but laugh. I always read this if I need my mood changed quick to happiness. A 5 out of 5.

Re-read 2023: This is truly one of the more emotional volumes. I love the stakes presented in this final few volumes. Characters dying for a reason, and it all seems so hard to accept, but it's only thanks to the emotional levels we go through thanks to getting to know everyone. The final fight begins here to in epic fashion with plenty of "holy shit" moments.
Still a 5 out of 5.
Original Review: I really don't know how much my heart can take.
The opening chapter alone nearly broke me. The passing of major characters is really killing me because these fucking demons are so goddamn ruthless and they don't care and these Demon Slayer are trying so hard but they are not winning haha.
I won't write much because everything is going to hell but basically everyone is going against Muzan now. The fights are wonderfully drawn, the emotion is there, and so much sadness is all displayed in an amazing fashion. This is top tier manga for me.

A solid collection. Mostly thanks to the great Tim story and him dealing with the death of his parents. It's emotional and serves well for his growth. The rest is okay, kind of one shots and two shots, that don't add much but written well enough to be enjoyable atleast.

Was a decent start but dwindled in the end and had one of the worst fights.
Basically White Wolf is using Crossbones to exact his revenge on Wakanda while making Sam look bad as Captain America. It's a good idea, that could work well. But instead of focusing on that we eventually get it jumbled up with people appearing out of nowhere on the other side of the world just because of plot and a fight between Sam (Not super powered) verse Black Panther (One of the strongest one on one fighters) That ends in such a silly way I can't help but laugh.
Overall decent, but can't rate it much higher than a 2.5-3.

While Grant came SWINGING on the start of his detective run, his later work seems to settle in just a "okay-good area". Nothing is horrible but a lot of the stories, save the ones revolving around Robin here, are just decent. I did enjoy the the last issue a lot, a kind of happy note. I also enjoy seeing Sarah return and Jim getting his shit together again. But the overall plot and "Villains" feels like a obvious downgrade from the first dozen or so issues from Grant.
Holy moly batman, this pile of garbage was assssssssssssssss.
I don't know what the hell happened. Before issue 100 Devin had a decent hold on Nightwing. Flawed run aside, it was a interesting take to have Nightwing on a downward spiral trying to handle the pressure of what happened to him.
But joining the mob? Being called Crutches? Now I know how Ric got the inspiration to have such a shitty run, it followed this.
Anyway Dick joins the mob and helps them. The end. Garbage, makes no sense, boring as can be, and a dumb fucking name. Crutches? Get out of my face with this shit.

Solid fun supergirl issue. Basically Supes and Batman are keeping tabs on how strong Kara is becoming as she learns how to use her powers for good.
