A kind of issue that's a bit weird cause nothing major happens (except maybe the last page?) But it's just Batman in the city stopping baddies.

But holy hell do I love the city the writer and artist creator. Seedy, shitty, ugly, Gotham at it's finest. I love it here.

This issue had cool moments in the opening but a lacking second half. Want more of this radioactive guy tho.

A decent ending to this two-parter. I liked the "villain" who really just tortured and created, and Batman is having trouble stopping him as he melts everything he touches. Overall some fun times if not super memorable.

Volume 15 goes deep into who Tsukasa is and what happened to her. It also goes back to the night of the whole car hit and it really works well.

This is probably the most damaged we've seen Tsukasa. Hurt and lost, wondering what her next move is. On the other hand you have Nasa, who's trying his best to remember what exactly happened that night. Leaving us to a pretty satisfyingly climax. I believe we will soon be going back to the past to learn Tsukasa life all those years ago. Hopefully it remains as entertaining as the rest of the series has been.

Caleb is a spinoff from the "Bad Games" series with the character of Caleb now fully into the hitman lifestyle.

This is far less horror based and more John Wick meets fun little one-liners.

I was a little sad to see it drop a lot of it's horror feel but it made up for it in the way Caleb reacts to things, and just his general appearance. I liked that even though he's highly skilled, he still can take a beating. I also enjoyed the interaction with most characters, especially Mia. Give me more Mia.

While I feel it's a little weird with the relationship with his doctor it overall worked well. It makes me want to go re-read the original series.

So unlike the last volume this contains 3 major arcs.

My favorite is probably the first one. With a new threat coming into Tim's life, he has to figure out what's happening. Involving a family member getting hurt, Tim learning about succubus's, and also getting a bigger look into future Tim.

The next one focuses on the Children Crusade characters returning. When a certain character comes back, the resolution feels half baked tbh. However, the stuff with Tim, Molly, and Marya are extremely well done and fun.

Last arc feels a little quick but it's basically it's Molly and Tim working together to help a "god" of sorts get his soul back. It's solid if a little too quick.

While not as good as the original or the first book, it's still very enjoyable. It feels a bit padded and heavy at times but I can't say I wasn't excited to read more once I finished. On to book 3.

Arts great but this issues plot feels all over the place. Batman going international to stop a terrorist just doesn't feel Batman.

Kind of a fucked up situation with no "winner". A man hurt for his people verses Batmans moral code.

It's one of those books I get the following, and art is great, but as it goes on, I'm losing more and more interest. I'm starting to think these just aren't for me.

Fear! It's a question that many of Batmans foes have asked him. But in this first parter we get Batman showing no fear. It's solid but not remarkable.
