Art amazing. Story feels little fluffed out to get to issue 100. But still excited to see what's next.
Cool to go back to Nakai. This time getting his grandfather's history with the mighty Predator race. While it didn't add much to the lore was still a decent read.
Okay this was too dumb for me. Little kid vs predator. Just...yeah...stupid.
Gonna review the 1718 story from the omnibus. Solid little story of two warriors fighting against the odds of survival. Nice throwback to Predator 2 and now Prey.
Okay this was a huge step up. Badass Jessica? Luke as protector daddy? Multiple Jessica's? Uh yeah. I'm in.
This was the funniest and best shit I read. Predators killing rednecks is awesome but the trap? Lmao too good. Laughed at rhe ending.
Still fun but loses it's charm when we go to such big undead gods.
Dark river finishes out the three stories based on Dutch's brother, and thank god for that.
It's not that they were bad, but his brother was the corny 80's action star with the one liners, but his one liners had no zing, and so they were flat 99% of the time. Also half naked woman being half naked for comic half naked rule got boring quick. Saying that the Predator being alive from the very first story was cool and seeing him and the brother go out it was cool. But the anti-climatic ending make this a 2.5 at best.

So we get more characters meeting. All the girls are heading to college, and with college life you meet new friends. Meeting someone from outside of Tokyo and getting her perspective of moving there is pretty great. Then about half way through hanging out with the girls we get the perspective of the aliens stuck on the ground from falling out of their ships. It's kind of nice and then BAM mass murder. Really makes you question whos the monster in the end.
Really dug this volume and hope the series continues the blend of sci-fi/slice of life with a touch of horror and dread.

I really enjoyed this one.
Buddy, our main lead here, was basically slapped around and abused mentally too by his father as a kid. But on a hunting trip he sees his father murdered by a Predator. Years and years later Buddy has his own family and treats them all right, taking care of his child and wife, without being a piece of shit. But poor buddy will always have some PDST. At the same time in this small little town he lives in, we have a police officer just trying to do her best, and make her father proud of the way she's running the force.
But when a psycho murderer escapes prison with a few friends, the Predator aims for their deaths. Through various events the murderer leads the Predator to the sleepy town and all hell breaks loose, including the true anger deep inside Buddy.
This is actually a really well done story. Buddy is super likeable and you can see his point of view almost every time. Characters act like normal people, not big action hero star here. The killer is scary as hell, and the Predator even more so. This just overall works in a lot of ways that surprised the hell out of me.
