Green arrow being a badass? Slade being interesting? This is a year one I can get behind.

Two kid flashes becoming homes. I love that type of shit.

A solid first issue but little light on content. I do like the banter with Dick and Bruce and the imagery is solid. We'll see how the first arc goes.

Not sure how I feel about the villain but everything else is working for me. Robin and Supergirl fighting together was also great.

Not as strong as I hoped but great art does save it for the most part. Two face returning is ehhh

Damn...I knew we were gonna lose one. I have a feeling this one won't end too happy.

Well, James Tynion sure knows how to stick a landing.

The first cycle is done. What occurred is brutal, sad, fucked up, and so intriguing I NEED more. The way this story wrapped up, about grief, loneliness, want, and need to be apart of something bigger is so well thought out. I loved how many emotions I went through reading this and can't wait to read it again in one big book form, I feel it'll be even better.

Hello darkness my old friend....

Yeah, I mean yes, I knew this would be sad. It's about a group of rogues, assholes, villains, trying to pull off a heist together. If Flash thought me anything dealing with these guys, they can only work together so long. But damn, this volume was brutal as hell, and I will be buying this if it ever releases in deluxe format to re-read it.

A fun little mix up with Deathstroke, Robin, and Batman trying to stop each other. Joshua Williamson been doing solid work on Robin and Deathstroke, so seeing them go head to head, even if Deathstroke is dealing with other stuff like learning he has a clone son from the previous series, makes for an exciting go and hunting crossover. While not great, and a lot of what happens feels like a set up for Dark Crisis, it's still entertaining for what it was.

Solid moving to next arc. Damien trying to find his way. A easy read just not special in any way yet.
