Seems like wasn't much a story to be built here, just DC world building.
A decent start but even with the twist, seeing Damien revert back to basics is ehhh
All good things come to a end and this series is no different. While it never blew me away completely it always maintained a high level of funness to it. Just seeing Catwoman in her older age, trying to find peace with her past, and finally getting to know what happened to Bruce was great. On top of that some great farewell scenes and a ending that was pretty touching, I overall enjoyed this series from issue 1 to the last. Chiang should write more stuff as much as he does his masterful artwork.
A bit of a rushed ending. Damien thrown into the end of his series despite setting so much up. Let's hope the sequel series, Robin vs Batman doesn't ruin his development.
Still damn good all these years later.
Reading it in full color is a nice way to relive this series. I loved the original. Love the anime. And now re-reading it in color just adds a extra flare. The way it looks, especially the faces and deaths are more expressive in color. The story is still great with a alien messing up and instead of taking over his host completely only takes over his hand. This means the alien has to work with the human to survive while meeting other aliens in the process who are eating and killing humans.
It's a ton of fun, some great character study, and brutal moments make this series stay entertaining throughout. I also forgot the comedy in this series is pretty solid too. Overall a great start to one of my favorite series of all time.

A fun throwback before Predator 2 made a splash on the big screen.
Funny enough alot of the start feels like Predator 2. Gang wars, fucked up city, cop storyline. All very familiar. I will say though by the half way mark this goes in a wildly different direction, a Alien invasion, and some brutal kills and fights. This is the story of Schaefer, who's the brother of Dutch from the first Predator movie. We follow him as he links everything together and learns about the Predators. It's a fun romp with a lot of 90's action with some cool kills from the Predators themselves.
I will say though the story feels disjointed, and jumping around to WAY too many areas at times. It starts simple but by the end, it goes in a insane direction, which is both good because entertaining, but a bit too wild that you question things.
Overall, if like a fun storyline with a cool 80's action star, and Predators murdering people, this is really solid. A 3.5 out of 5.

The start is a slog, and Talia is one of my least favorite Batman characters, but Bruce is really well written here and has a couple of great moments, especially in the middle. But this run backup is pretty boring.
Man, this run just isn't doing it for me. Don't care much about the villains, the main story is kind of dull, and I don't really have much suspense to keep me entertained reading. Bruce is great, but the rest is forgettable.
Did Superman and Batman just do FuSion from Dragon Ball Z? Bro...that was nuts.
I'm still not loving the villain but Bruce and Clark are so fun together, the art is fantastic with some epic fight scenes, and god, supergirl gets to shine and baby, if she shines, this book shines. Let's go!

EPIC!!! Okay this series started a bit disjointed but by the end I am 100% in on this series. Superman and Batman along with Supergirl and DOom Patrol do their last push to stop evil. So much damn fun, looks so damn good, and it's everything I want in a superhero comic! I'm hoping one day we get an entire Omnibus with this. I hope it goes for 30+ issues.
