Radiant Red is another book inside the Radiant universe and it's almost as solid as the rest.
Our main lead here is dealing with a lot. A partner who has a real addiction problem to gambling, her career kind of just stuck, and these new powers that she might have used to, um, rob a bank? This leads to people interested in her powers and a whole mess she's about to get involved in.
I think this works as a standalone, though if read Radiant Black there's a lot of cool callbacks to volume 1-2. I also think the character herself is interesting as she isn't as innocent as most superheroes are. She basically does what she must to survive, leaving her to do some, well, messed up shit to put it blunt.
The art is weird for me because sometimes I love it, the fights, and the world look. But the faces really do NOT match the dialogue at times, making sometimes angry faces look sad, or sad faces look happy, it's very off-putting sometimes to what the characters are saying.
But like most of the stories in this universe I'm heavily invested and want more. A 4 out of 5.

My oh my, the Rogue gang heads to a place they shouldn't go. Grodd isn't going to be very happy. I really dug this, a lot of heartwarming moments in the middle of building up this heist but you just KNOW shit is going to go wrong. I feel bad for the rogues despite most being pieces of shit, where we end up, I feel like it ain't going to be pretty.
Well looks like the tides might shift but many heroes are cornered. Happy or sad ending incoming?
Action Comics (2016-) #1049

A solid lead in to the next chapter in action comics. Supes being a true hero, a villain rising, and Luthor still being a POS.
Detective Comics (2016-) #1055
Matthew Rosenberg, Amancay Nahuelpan, Fernando Blanco, Irvin Rodriguez, Mariko Tamaki
This is a breezy read for main plot with everyone slipping up and getting caught. The b side story enters no man's land era and still great stuff.
Detective Comics (2016-) #1056

The main story moves along and stays fun with Batman arriving but the backup story I'd the real star here. Part 2 during no man's land and I want a whole series of this.

Action packed, fast paced, backup story still intriguing. Yeah thus run of detective comics is some good shit.

A solid ending for the main story, a great ending for the backup. You don't matter is the theme but in reality it did just not in a way you'd expect. Good stuff.

A solid riddler story. Not a huge fan of him but this story has me intrigued. The backup is all right. Gotham girl is cool but not sure about the plot of this one.
