One of the weaker volumes.
It's cool to see our hero become stronger and summon even tougher creatures but the lack of having to try hard at all is getting annoying. Also, it hints he might go down a darker path but I have a feeling this series won't actually go with that plotline which sucks.
So yeah a lot of political talk and such about who's joining who inbetween some great fight scenes make this volume uneven at best.

Outcast finishes up on a semi-nice note.
Kirkman always delivers a solid enough ending and while I think this ending is probably the least well done of the ones I finished (Invincible/Oblivion Song) it's still good. The final confrontation and the big merge moment is a lot of fun. Very supernatural, sticks to the roots of the series, and the base of the entire series is to overcome the darkness within you. So I really enjoyed all that.
The ending is good if not a bit safe. There's some fun moments, and a crazy preacher really helps make it so weird to see how these characters ended up. Overall, it's a solid ending in a overall solid series.

When watching the anime this was the weakest part for me too. The younger sister wanting to cosplay too never interest me and went on too long on how to get her dressed as a man and lose her boobs. But besides that arc the cuteness is still there. Find it funny the cover art is literally just thr last couple of pages haha
Ah so this is the book we find out Eddie has cancer.
The weird retcon aside I really dug this. The outlandish art actually made the fight scenes alot of fun. I liked Eddie here, a broken man, needed some type of help. Peter questioning his actions in a mature way. Overall, very solid spidy/venom story.

Was aite.
Daniel Way mostly writes trash and sometimes okay stories. This one is okay. The art is unique atleast and some fun The Thing moments of guessing but everything plays out exactly how you'd expect in the end.

A very solid followup to the prison arc. Everyone is going a bit crazy, Rick even speaking to his wife on the phone which is...impossible for various reasons. Abraham enters the picture who I always found interesting. And everyone gets a bit more shaky while Carl begins to step up.
Somehow the plot got dumber. Wolverine is added in the storyline to move units. Only can take so many issues of wolverine being taken down by venom before gets boring. Weird clone subplot. Yeah this story is mostly bad but least the art is good.
Somehow it got worse. The plot is nonsensical. Spider-Man is here because OF course. Guess wolverine didn't move enough units. Two venom fighting couldn't be anymore boring.
Yeah shit, this was bad.

Still amazing.
This time Shin and Lu get to shine. Especially because we learn a lot more about Shin's past and how he got his power. Which is both sad and also kind of hilarious at the same time. But when Lu gets kidnapped Sakamoto and Shin work together to get her back, facing off against a bunch of goons. More shonen than usual but also they keep it fresh with some really cool ideas.
Overall, another funny, heartwarming, and badass volume of Sakamoto Days! A 4.5 out of 5.

While cute, this feels like a less fun version of No Matter What You Say, Furi-san is Scary!
I think it's because our main girl here is SO scared of everything, even to speak. She reminds me more of Komi than anything. This very much feels like Komi mixed with Furi-San, but don't think it is as funny as either or as cute.
Saying that it's enjoyable, the art in color is a nice change, and I'd read more but not sure if I'd buy more anytime soon.
