About as stupid as you expect, but kind of funny?
Carnage keeps calling venom daddy, gross, yet funny.
Venom wants his grandbaby to be safe. Until he finds out his grandbaby could hurt him when he grows up, then he wants him dead. LOL.
Spider-man caught inbetween all this family drama like "Come on bro"
Overall dumb as shit, but also kind of entertaining? Art is photo-realistic, so sometimes looks great, other times looks awful. A 2.5 out of 5.

Blue Lock is back baby and this time...It's more fun!
We have the team now formed, all kind of assholes, or selfish, who have to face off against other teams this time to survive the game. This is cool to see people who always thought of themselves at the best to work together. I also really enjoyed how the team forms naturally, still rude, and semi-mean to each other, but some bonding over simple things like just having respect for each other. I can't speak enough about the high energy art too, some real energy there to show off the game of soccer super well.
Overall a nice jump up and I'm more invested now.

A great noir style with a character I never much read before. Vic wants to be a hero of sorts but from the first issue learns the hard way that isn't simple. The origin story Is basically wrapped up in two issues but they work well. Then we get Into one shots and two partners that feel very grounded, dark, and work extremely well for a detective style character. The last story in particular about a father's acceptness is intense and brutal.
Alot of thr stories are still excellent here. Especially the first and last. The story of a man raised by wolves Is somehow super well crafted. The final story about a fat monster killing ends extremely grim. The issues of The Question undercover is the weakest part but still decent. Overall a 4 out of 5.
Back in Black
Terrell Bobbett, Ángel Medina, Lee Weeks, Sean McKeever, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Matt Fraction, Salvador Larroca
Decent stories of Peter going through a VERy dark part in his life. I liked it as a companion to the main line at the time with Spider-man back in black.
Just as good if not better than volume 1. Fast paced, fucked up, and sad. I really loved the two main leads, their relationship, and their ultimate faith really worked well. Best Remender series in years, I'll for sure pick up a deluxe version.
Still really solid. The best issues dealing with US soldiers who are just too far gone. Lost in a dream. Another is dealing with a pos racist but handled mostly well. Last two issues are solid but a bit weak with Green Arrow on the finish.
Superman: Son of Kal-El (2021-) #15
Tom Taylor, Scott Hanna, Travis Moore, Cian Tormey, Tamra Bonvillain
A decent ending to the arc. I'm not too sure I ever liked the villain in this series tbh. Glad he's gone.
Superman: Son of Kal-El (2021-) #16
Tom Taylor, Travis Moore, Cian Tormey, Tamra Bonvillain, Ruairi Coleman
Opening and ending were great but the middle felt bit fluff. Not bad just decent hero saving moments.
This was real good. A new villain and Jon talking to his father about being Bi. Great stuff.
