Was okay story. Not a fan of Moon Knights brother. Art is fantastic though.

Gorgeous art as always. Finally getting to see heartless go against Blockbuster was fun. Dick getting one over on crooked cops is a plus. But I am ready for the arc to ramp up a bit. We need something to push Dick.

For someone who's not big into sci-fi I enjoyed this for what it is.

After a tragic accident we have Samara going off to a prison like planet to serve her time. But soon we get deeper into why humans are really there and who the "bad" guys really are. It's fast paced, Ed Brisson writes a solid storyline here with good dialogue, and the art works, but I feel this series never really does anything special. It feels like a standard storyline with good art but neither going out of their way to be the next big thing. Fun but didn't blow me away.

Step back into the twisted hotell!

Another fun volume of people from all over coming to the Hotell of hell because of something going on with their life. From a father who lost everything for his family, to a girl on the run from a crazy biker gang of murderers, to a guy just trying to keep his best buddy (dog) alive. They all have their own stories but eventually settle into one big story by the end.

And this volume is as solid as the first. I'd say this one hits more emotional beats, especially the one about a guy and his pup. I'd say it still goes to fast at times, and not every story is as strong as the last (The one about the biker chick was blah for me) but the very ending came together well and some truly fucked up deaths.

Overall, if liked 1, 2 is that but better. A 3.5 out of 5. I'll bump it to a 4!

Life sucks.

Not doing much with it, our main lead Ryohei wants to be in a different world. Maybe one filled with zombies. To give him something new. Give him purpose after being in his little brother's shadow for so long.

But him and his two friends get teleported to a new world of hell. At first it seems it's just them but soon they find they have to play "games" to survive. If they fail the games they are viciously murdered by the rules.

A bit of squid game, a bit of battle royal, a bit of gantz, we get a lot of fun elements and stories placed into one. The first half is solid enough hook but it is really thanks to the second arc with the horse faced man with two machine guns chasing down everyone in a apartment complex in a brutal game of cat and mouse that elevates this series for me.

If you love a little spice with survival, this one should not be missed. The opening can be slow, and some of the faces are a little wonky, but once it gets going it's well worth the adventure.

I guess it's been so long since seen the movie, or the movie has a different ending, but this shit got real dark.

The story is simple. A mom and kid go to get their car fixed, Cujo has rabbies, and wants them dead dead because his mind is all sorts of fucked up. That's the general idea but we also have multiple storylines going on with the mom just recently cheating on her husband, dealing with that we also have Cujo's master who's a horrible person but that person's wife and kid aren't, and they are dealing with going on vacation during the time Cujo starts going crazy.

This keeps the tension while also giving us a interesting story. I felt like this tried many plotlines, and not all worked (Didn't care much about the campers or however spell their name family) but the rest was interesting enough and the raw violence is pretty brutal to hear about. Overall, a good audio even if the voice didn't match a lot of characters voices in my head.

Overall though for horror story it's good! A 4 out of 5.

The first half of this book is kind of just random one shots. Second half is a story about how the police and government will cover up shit after they try to kill you.

At this point anytime I pick up Transmetropolitan I ask myself why I don't continue. I think it's because the subject matter is a bit heavy. Like sure, it's funny at times. Spider and his crew are good at making me laugh. But holy hell...police coverup. Race/Hate crime. Government wanting to rid you and they will. Blocking legit news reports. SO much...and it is SO dark and true even to this day.

Anyway, first half was a little eh. Didn't work for me. But the second half was amazing. Also the art is stunning.

yeah I can't read this series anymore.

SOCCER BUT TO THE DEATH!

Well not really. But basically Japan is lacking in forwards for soccer. Everyone is to concerned about team play and not taking the ball themselves and being a badass king. So our main lead and 299 other forward players in High School get drafted to the "blue Lock" where there will be only ONE forward player in the end to help turn around Japan's lack of wins at the world cup.

This idea is insane. Everyone takes this like it's life or death. But man is it not entertaining. It's a little dumb, and a little over the top, and takes a bit to set up but the ending did get me hyped for things to come. A 3.5 out of 5.

Really enjoyed this issue. Yara going to war with the gods is both funny and also badass. The art remains solid, though noticed a bit of a drop. I also not sure where we're going with Cass but the very last page got me hyped.
