Wonder Girl (2021-2022) #6
Matteo Scalera, Dinisio Carmine Moreno, Elena Casagrande, Joëlle Jones, Leila del Duca, Jordie Bellaire
Solid but feels like we're rushing towards the end.

You for sure can tell this was canned, which sucks. But yeah this just everyone fighting gods, Yara gets a free will, and...it ends. Very anticlimactic.
Superman: The Third Kryptonian
Dwayne McDuffie, Rick Leonardi, Fabian Nicieza, Renato Guedes, Kurt Busiek
The main core story is okay.
But the human moments. Especially with Clark and Bruce, Clark and Chris, clark and lois, or Clark's family. All of that is fantastic with great character development. The main story is a bit jumbled and overly long, and the placement of the following stories seem a bit mixed with no real flow or anything.
But overall a decent superman read with decent art.

The first story is a really bad Lana Lang story. Second is...not much better. Overall weak volume in an otherwise okay run by Busiek.
Another great volume. The laughs keep coming.
The first half is basically Bats, bettle, fire (I think that's her name), and booster have to basically go spy and break into a place. Of course this goes wrong but holy shit is Batman funny as hell here. Then we have Big Barda, Martian Manhunter, and the rest hunting down the evil warlord who stole Mister Miracle. This is a lot of fun watching the two teams get into situations that are both funny and can be serious. Also, Lobo is actually pretty funny this time and I usually hate this guy.
A 4 out of 5.

5 Girls. 1 Guy.
Time to fu--
I mean study.
So we have a brillant, yet egotistical, somewhat funny guy who doesn't like people but is proud of how smart he is. In comes a cute, red headed girl, he meets at lunch. Except they argue who can sit at a empty table, leading to a fight, and him dismissing her. He then later finds out he has to tutor her because her father set up a deal with his father for pay. Then he finds out there's 5 of them, all sisters...good times begin.
We're going to have a wide range of characters because have 5 very different sisters plus Futaro, out main lead, who's focus is to help these girls so his family doesn't go homeless. It's interesting but also of course the girls are either short with him, cute, dumb as shit, or flirtatious. This book's main focus is all of them first couple of chapters, and then focusing on Miku, the weird one with headphones on all the time. Those are actually the strongest chapters, the one on one help build both characters. Also, Miku is the cutest, so she wins.
But I'm not completely interested in the whole crew. It's a lot, and some feel a bit too typical but it could change my mind later. However, it's cute enough, and funny enough, for me to read on! A 3.5 out of 5, I'll bump it to a 4 for Miku.

The Flash maintains its quality in the third volume as Wally begins to grow even more.
The first 3 part storyline is Wally teaming up with Nightwing and Starfire after they've gotten hitched. Nightwing is blaming himself for what happened to the Titans on top of just not being his usual self. The Flash works with him and Starfire to stop some criminals, but the best part about this arc is Linda and Wally confronting their feeling towards each other and Wally letting go of the past.
From there we get some good 1-3 part stories of Wally dealing with different villains and saving lives. The best story though is Wally on trial for not saving a woman from a terrible fate. Wally self blaming and saying he could have done more even when he did everything he can was great to say and really sad. The big villain reveal was okay but the rest was great.
Then we have Impulse enter the scene. this story was fun if not a little weird, but I'm glad Impulse is now here!

Deathstroke Inc. (2021-) #10
Joshua Williamson, Howard Porter, Ed Brisson, Mikel Janín, Dexter Soy
A really solid start.
This is a year one story and this is before Slade becomes a piece of shit. Don't get me wrong, he's still disconnected from his family but his slow burn approach to getting used to being with people again is interesting. I also really liked the great art here, smooth and good action scenes.

While not as good as I hoped, it was still solid. Jock writes a fast paced action set piece one after another but his voice for everyone is just okay. The plot itself is the weakest part. However, I will say the art is GREAT and it's like watching the action scenes in motion.
This one gets a little darker...
Blue Beetle suffers the worst here with getting taken over by the "queen" in his mind. When that happens he begins to attack his teammates with a knife. It's a brutal couple of pages that actually does some great character development for multiple characters. There's still plenty of laughs, mostly with Guy or Batman or even Fire or Ice. This team feels messy and never really works well together but always highly entertaining. There's one funny issue with Beetle and Booster that's funny as heck, but then gets real somber by the end. A real nice turn around. The final issue with the Rod was okay but the rest was really enjoyable and Max's true self is coming out.
