Man once this is animated this is gonna be all kinds of awesome.
Deku, Endevor, Bakugo, Icey Hot, Gran Tarino, Eraser and more verses Shiggy in a great fight that's both epic and emotional. People make bold choices, cut off limbs, sacrifice their body, protect others. Without spoilers, this is the kind of big boss, end of the road, we might not survive fight I like to see. A 4.5-5 out of 5.

The INFAMOUS issue.
Before we get to the big "moment" that people get very upset over, the first half, or more than half of this issue, is great. Dick is at his limit. Both mentally and physically he can't do much more. After finally getting answers he witnesses ANOTHER death and just can't stand it. Him and Blockbuster go at it, ruthlessly, and the whole time Dick will not back down.
Then the big moment happens, another death, and then a rape.
Now rape is gross. And sadly what happens to Dick I hear doesn't really acknowledge it later on. Which is a shame because there's another comic where something similar happens called Invincible and in that, they handle a rape of a main character (who also happens to be male) very well and it is heartbreaking because the events are terrible to watch yet we watch as our heroes heal.
Here it just happened, so I'll hold verdict. I do find it weirdly placed and honestly unnecessary since we already got a shocking scene couple pages prior. But overall up until that point, I really enjoyed this issue.

Who knew getting into a adult side of things, marriage, health issues, and just general being poor could make myself relate to this arc the most.
Marcus goes through the headache of saving Saya again. Even though this is a doomed relationship, the boy just never learns even as an adult. This adventure has crazy fun fight scenes but then we get to the best part of this entire volume. Young adulthood-being broke, and trying to survive. It's nice to see Marcus and "Spoiler" together and watching him grow in interesting ways. I also loved the ending to this volume and a shocking death really amps up the ending for me.
Overall I REALLY enjoyed this volume and can't wait for the final volume to come out. A 4.5 out of 5.

A farewell to Cass as Batgirl. Giving her some closure at rhe end is nice but my God, the road there was not fun. Not bad but between weak art and bad fight scenes to extremely out of character moments (nightwing being a huge dick made no sense...no pun intended) and I didn't give two shits about any of the new cast or crappy love interest.
Dicks dealing with alot of of issues and he's a broken mess. I am interested to see where we go.
Always fun to go back in time and see some early works from a great creator...and this wasn't great LOL.
So a guy who was sexually abused as a kid by his cousin is afraid of woman with big breast. He has a lot of trouble dating because of it. So he and a friend visit a place where succubus seduce men. And he meets a girl with small breast and he falls in love. Then the war on humanity begins as the succubus decide they want to run the world.
This was pretty stupid. The over the top reactions over everything gets annoying. And it's silly. However, it's almost train wreck like where I couldn't stop reading. Watching a big titty succubus chase a guy around a school with her boobs flapping up and down did get a laugh out of me, because it was so insane.
I will say there's some interesting ideas. Like the succubus not having a way to reproduce normally (missing vagina) but they do take the soul energy out of a guy cumming to create a baby. They haven't said how those babies are then born though. So guess we'll see in volume 2 which I believe will be the last for the series.
Anyway, this is silly and dumb but also I can't stop reading? A 2.5 out of 5 at most, but I'll bump it to a 3 for the insanity of it.

Really great prequel to Something is Killing the Children. Get a lot more time with Aaron and his first few years at the house of slaughter. Get deeper world building, cute relationship, and kind of bittersweet ending if you are currently caught up with the main series. Only negative is some of the art is a bit weaker than I'd like compared to the main series.

Well this was the missing link for a long time. I've read Bendis legendary run, brubaker, waid, and so on. I, however, never did read the original Frank Miller run. I did read Born again, I did read Man without fear, and while I enjoyed both I didn't love them. This...I oddly fell in love the second Miller jumped on as head writer.
So this big ass book, they call those Omnibus, starts off with Frank Miller as actually just a artist. But a couple of issues in he becomes a plotter too. And by about 7 or 8 issues in he becomes the actual writer of this series while Klaus Janson continues the excellent art with Miller's penciling. What really worked well here with the two is both are artist and Frank Miller, when he was on the top of his game, was a hell of a writer/plotter.
While the first few stories here showcase a more fun side of Daredevil and some cool moments with the hulk, they feel very typical superheroish. Then we get into Frank Miller's world and right away he sets up Elektra in such a intriguing way. A woman who once loved Matt, and he loved her, swallowed by grief and rage goes down a much darker path than Matt. Still, inside her, you can tell she loves him.
Then Miller sets up Bullseye and makes him a extremely evil threat. While doing so he also gets to showcase Matt's limits and how close he is to letting Bullseye finally die. It's a great issue and only helps set up the big showdown later in the omnibus. Then Miller introduces the man, the legend, Fisk, into the big picture and things get even more crazy.
I won't spoil anything despite this being old but the amount of world building, chaos, and sadness this book contains is awesome. Even if the middle is near perfection I still think the ending of this Omnibus holds up extremely well too. Getting close to the end Matt becomes more joking, but not over the top, and it's refreshing. The fights can be brutal as hell, but also over the top and silly like Stiltman fight. The very last issue too is great, and a good deconstruction on superheroes.
Overall, very much worth reading. I can't say the start was perfect, but the middle was, and the last third was great. A 4.5 out of 5.

Thunderbolts continues to be a interesting read about people who were criminals trying to do the right thing (except Zemo, he's still a asshole)
The Thunderbolts are not having a good time. No one is giving them a second chance and the new masters of evil offering them a spot to work with them. Now after being in the middle of the woods, broke, and not knowing what to do this offer seems nice. Then we have a new member join them, or should I say new leader, in the form of Hawkeye! That's right, the Avengers team member.
This was another really solid volume. I love the dynamic of the team and it feeling more family than working together. I also really like Jolt, she's great. I think adding Hawkeye is going to be a lot of fun too. Not a huge fan of the Zemo issue, felt long and kind of boring. And the Avengers/Thunderbolt issue was fun but lacked a punch.
Still, a 4 out of 5 for sure.

A kind of boring "let's take each soon to be JL member and push forward" but wasn't feeling it. And the art was ehhhh
