REALLY good. Watching Kyle deal with a D list villain of his was funny as hell. Also Kyle dealing with the messy end of his relationship was well done and felt bad for both of them. A really solid issue.

With all Omnibus you always get some bad with good. However, as a whole, this was SO much fun.

So the Moon knight omnibus actually starts with Moon Knight being a villain of sorts. Or least hunting down the werewolf character who is a hero in the marvel universe at the time. He's hired to do so and does it well, but by the end he betrays the society and helps the wolf hero. It's simple but effective way to introduce Moon Knight. We get a Defenders team up after, which is alright. Then we get a few single issues inside the Hulk Magazine published at the times, which contain some of the best Moon Knight stories including a horrific tale of him having to face his brother to the death.

Then the second half of the book gets the first 20 issues of Moon Knight's main run. It's a single writer/artist combo so it feels refreshing in this day and age of switch ups. I also really enjoyed these early adventures of Marc switching between Steven Grant and his other personalities to tackle the missions he was on. Some were violent killers he had to stop, or a mystical group of warriors, a ghost in a home, or even a racist son of a bitch who dresses up as a rat.

Overall, this is very 70's-80's but also darker at points, and really showcases loss in a interesting way. I feel like we have stakes, and although the dialogue can be wooden due to the time period, it's not insufferable or overly done like some comics during this era.

It's not perfect but it's honestly a blast to read. I liked it so much just bought the 2nd Omnibus right away.

A 4 out of 5.

I'm such a sucker for Goku arriving just in time to take down the bad guy.

But this is actually one of the best volumes of the series so far. Moro is a wicked villain, up there with Cell and King Picollo and Freeza for using his assholishness to make him unique. I also liked this volume a lot because Goku gets to go hand to hand with Moro which we don't see often in later DBZ fights. Also, how awesome was it to see cocky Vegeta once more? yeah this volume was pretty fucking great.

Another really fun issue. Poor John...but Kyle isn't having much luck either. But luckily he has the willpower to win!

Was great to John to talk man to man with Kyle and help him. At first was like Kyle...what are doing. But luckily second half really turned it around.

Did we just do a fridging scene but in a Oven?

A kind of odd ending...but maybe it continues in Ion? Which was the series running along side Green Lantern.

Was solid again but no remarkable. Cool rhino twist and damn, the ending. Big trouble for Daredevil.

Solo leveling continues to be a pretty looking book with a solid plot though I'm wondering what is the end game.

We do have the start where our hero is basically just powering up. It's cool to see thanks to great designs and fights though it seems very grindy. However, the red gate appears, which makes this volume a lot more exciting soon after. With survival on the mind, more training, and finally a reveal of the hero and maybe someone related to him, this volume continues to be extremely entertaining. A 4 out of 5.
