Thor continues to be fun though this is probably the shortest and least compelling volume so far.
Thor is questioning himself, like any person would. However, Thor is no regular person, he's a God and a KING. And every move he makes will effect so many people. And when his hammer isn't being nice and listening he starts trying to find solutions to it all.
It's entertaining to watch Thor kind of deal with problems but not by himself. First going to Steve Rogers, then to Jane, and eventually trying to enlist his brother and Frog Thor to aid him in retrieving his hammer back. It's a nice set up to a arc that I believe will be a lot of fun. This one is solid but not mind-blowing.
A 3.5 out of 5.

This was a okay event to lead to the new Doctor Strange or better yet sorcerer supreme.
So strange is dead. If couldn't tell by the title, it happens fairly quickly within the first issue. We then have a older version of strange that the modern day strange left behind that'll last one week to find out who killed him. Kind of fun idea, little bit like the Oath, and also get a nice amount of side cast helping figure out his death.
The art and story are both solid but neither blew me away. The reveal is kind of meh though I did enjoy the last few pages and excited to see Clea's new stint as the Sorcerer Supreme (Not a spoiler, she's literally on the cover as the new one and mentioned everywhere.)
But this isn't bad but not as good as some of Jed Mackay's other work. A 3 out of 5.

This was okay.
My major issues is I thought the story was tackling depression at first. It felt that way. Voice in the head. Staying in the dark. Not wanting to leave the house. Can't create art. You know, this is something a lot of people sadly go through in life. And I was about to relate to the character but then it revealed this voice and figure she was seeing in the dark was actually a demon.
Not maybe it is still a metaphor for depression and self harm and what we do when we're stuck. And for that and the art alone, it hits pretty high. But the ultimate resolution, the demon itself, and the horror route it went so quickly didn't fully work for me.
But bonus points for demon sex.

I almost landed on a 2 out of 5 but the art and last issue did help.
After the explosive and well recived Cates run, Al Ewing and Ram V came on board. Both extremely solid writers working together with Hitch's art, what can go wrong?
Well, for starters, making Dylan kind of a meh character about half way through.
Dylan was a standout in Cates run. He was brave, kind hearted, and really helped push Eddie to become a better man. I would have loved to see more of that. Except Eddie does make a choice to leave at the end while Dylan stays behind on earth. And this picks up pretty soon after with a actually solid opening of Dylan on the run after his dad telling him to meet him somewhere despite his dad just being in the room a few minutes prior. Gives a nice "scary" moment that makes you question who is who.
But then the next few issues feel like drone on without much interest. Dylan being hunted, captured, hunted, fight. But none of it is hitting emotionally. Eddie is in some symbiot safe haven of some sort with a big bad pulling the strings...meh.
Overall it isn't horrible and the art is solid but I just can't help but feel it's missing the heart that made the last run so good. Let's see if they can turn it around in volume 2.

The first half was pretty solid.
Watching the mutants get slaughtered by some radical fuckers was pretty great. I also enjoyed the second to last issue with Wolvie and Sabertooth going at it. And even the daredevil issue was pretty fun.
But the rest? Kind of meh. The X-Factor issues lacked weight to them. Didn't feel nearly as serious. Power Pack issue was a waste of my damn time. Not sure why Thor came in, but it was well written but felt out of place. And the very last issue of this run kind of is boring.
I'm just thinking maybe Claremont's writing isn't for me.

Holy shit, this was fantastic.
So we have the Inhumans, you know the guys no one seems to like (I Do...some of them) having enough of this bullshit of being treated like shit. So what do they do? Well they go after anyone and everyone trying to fuck with them. This opens with a bang as Black Bolt and his people hit the Skrulls first, pretty much dominating them in minutes.
Then they set their sights on Ronan the Accuser and the Kree. In a twist of faith Ronan bows and let's Black Bolt take over, takes Crystal as his wife, and they begin to rise. But Vulcan, the crazy fucking brother of Cyclops and Havok decides that's no good and declares war by attacking the Inhuman's on the wedding day of Crystal.
Lots of nice political fighting, which I'm a big fan of. Great deaths, awesome fights, wonderful character moments and growth, and a ending that sets up the cosmic world in a lot of cool ways.
This might be as good if not better than Annihilation for me. A 4.5 or maybe even a 5 out of 5.

Good art and I like Electkra but this fight is just dragging.
Big Dceased/Injustice vibes. Great tone, good intro, fucked up deaths. Sign me up!
Wow this was pretty trash.
A son doesn't like the way his parents are doing things in the Savage land. Then he can shoot flowers out of his hands. And then they go through this trippy world of dying and...listen this is like a discounted animal man and just not worth your time. Go read Animal Man by jeff lemire or anybody.

YAWN
What a boring way to wrap up a overly long arc. With so many great previous shonen's and so many current ones that are far better than Naruto this is becoming a chore to read.
So Naruto and pain settle their differences in the most boring way. And after doing so Pain brings everyone back to life, because, what are stakes for? Lolz what a fucking waste of time.
I'm starting not to give a shit about any of these characters and this series goes up another 25+ volumeS? I think I might need to throw in the towel.
