This was okay.
My major issues is I thought the story was tackling depression at first. It felt that way. Voice in the head. Staying in the dark. Not wanting to leave the house. Can't create art. You know, this is something a lot of people sadly go through in life. And I was about to relate to the character but then it revealed this voice and figure she was seeing in the dark was actually a demon.
Not maybe it is still a metaphor for depression and self harm and what we do when we're stuck. And for that and the art alone, it hits pretty high. But the ultimate resolution, the demon itself, and the horror route it went so quickly didn't fully work for me.
But bonus points for demon sex.
