Jesus Christ...this is some manipulating, evil, fucked up shit...and I am here for all of it.

Love this series so much. Read volume 1 and 2 years ago, still holds up really well.

Babyteeth is a story about Satan being reborn into our world, to bring the end of times, and a 16 year old girl name Sadie is the mother. How far would you go to protect your child? If you were apart of this family, would you do anything to protect that child? Those are the questions presented while everyone else in the world wants to either destroy or protect the child.

Fun, exciting, heartfelt, and a lot of greatness in spews from this comic. I can't wait till the 2nd half is published in this format to re-read again. Probably my favorite Cates story.

Ugh back to the dull villains. This run has to kick it up a notch.

Better but the sooner we move on from these boring villains the better

Well this went a more somber, slower paced direction, yet mostly worked in its favor.

This volume largely revolves around Rin. The very first part she actually comes face to face with Anotsu, the leader of the group who murdered her father and raped her mother before killing her. It's a interesting showdown and showcased there might be more to Anotsu than we originally thought.

Then we get to possibly the best arc in the series or high up there focusing on Araya Kawakami, one of the violators of the night on Rin's poor mother. Coming off as a charming, mask creator, who is a father he seems like a decent person. But behind all that we learn he loves to watch women suffer, scream and beg, while abusing them and eventually killing them. This calm and nice man on the outside being a vicious monster inside is both frightening and makes for a great character to really hate.

The last part starts building towards the next major arc. Setting up character motivations and moving them into the main spotlight of where we are heading next. Most interesting is Rin's development of her learning to deal with her loss and grief and wondering if revenge is really the only answer.

A darker and more calm volume with spurts of brutal action really help move this series into a direction I didn't expect. I'm excited to read on.

Maybe one of my favorite volumes so far and this whole series has been fantastic.

This is mostly just giving us the origin story of Erica, but that's okay, she's a great character. You find out what happened to her parents, and how she became a hunter. You get to see a deeper look into the Slaughterhouse and how they run their shit as well, which is to say very screwed up boarding school like way with murdering training demons.

But yeah, fantastic to say the least. Great character growth, amazing art as always from this series, and I can NOT wait to see where we go next. A 5 out of 5.

Solid first issue.

Peter is not having a good time. Pages open to something horrible happening, big explosion maybe, and then reverts back to 6 months later and Peter is walking around moping. We get a gang war building up, MJ not wanting to speak to Peter, Peter getting yelled at my May, and Otto...well you'll see. Also a twist surprise at the end?

A lot of build up, but will it pay off? It's more around a 3 out of 5 but the art pushed me to a 3.5-4 so I'll land it there.

This was kind of felt like it lost it's edge. Maybe just ready to move on to the next arc but I didn't really care what happened to the crew here. This art too...just isn't doing it for me. I hope we get a new artist next arc, cause Johnson deserves it.

Pain wrecks shit, Naurto fucking around training, and after Pain blows stuff up Naruto returns angry.

Pretty cool to see see Naruto in new Sage mode, pretty cool looking design wise, and the way he fights is pretty solid.

But this manga is really stretching it...And there's like 30 more volumes? Jesus...

Ugh the sooner wisp and the rest of these characters leave the better.
