Solo Leveling begins to heat up as our warrior gets meaner.
That's the route it seems to be taken. Our main Jinwoo keeps growing in strength but a bit of his humanity slips away. Especially when he kills people. I do like that he isn't just evil or mean for the sake of it, just more serious, and gets shit done when shit needs to be handled. It's a dark approach that actually works. The action also stays highly entertaining, with how fast and brutal it can be.
I'd say the only thing I didn't love about this chapter was the whole "luck" survive moment. It felt out of place. Everything else, from coning a con man, to fighting an assassin, really worked for me. Excited to see where we go in volume 4.

The opening pages are amazing (except why did nightwing have new52 suit???) But that and the moments with Jon and Dick were great. The truth villains or rising whatever they're called just not interesting me much.
Goku and Vegeta once again lose to Moro.
I like if nothing else Moro shows that you can't just win on brute strength. So both Vegeta and Goku split apart. No more training together. It's now time for both to learn new ways to fight. This leads to what feels like a lot of build up or set up for the next part of the series. Luckily, it looks like the Z warriors will get to shine as the baddies are heading to earth. Leaving the faith of earth up to Gohan, Picollo, and the others.
Overall, a solid volume but not mindblowing. I like the set up though and art remains solid. Let's see where we go next.

A goodbye.
This hit pretty hard. I don't know how much I loved the last page. However, everything before that I really dug, heavy dialogue and all, and a great chapter end for a character like Supergirl.

Alien is back after paper shortage issues, yay!
The art is really starting to get me. Everything feels stiff at times, which this well written story deserves better. Saying that, I really liked the bleak choices here, setting up some heavy deaths to come. A 4 out of 5.

Another cute volume, starting to vibe more with Komi and her crew.
Komi decides to head with the crew to a pool. I did find it super cute her freaking out about getting ready to see them, more so than actually being in a bathing suit. But I will say, Komi looked mighty cute in one though! Then they head to a festival where Komi wants to express her feelings but not that easy.
Overall, lots of cuteness here. Komi becoming more full of herself...or a bit. Trying to build that confidence. Hopefully she does. A 4 out of 5.

Solid start to next arc. One great scene with a drunk and Bruce. The art is also fantastic. The backup is good tho not a fan of manbat
This is the volume to end one arc and start the final arc. The Black Chapter arc is one of my favorites, and it ends just as good as it started.
Yusuke goes head to head with Sensui and the ending is pretty great. A surprise power boost (in the 90's if your hair grew really long you were becoming VERY strong) and leaves Yusuke a little different. A little bit more...demon. This leads to Yusuke trying to decide if he wants to head back into the demon world or stay on earth.
It's a lot of good character growth. Yusuke takes a big step forward in the relationship department. We get a really good fight scene at the start. I'll say the first spirit detective plotline is interesting though the monk plotline less so. But intrigued how it'll finish as I hear this last arc differs from the anime.
But overall, fun times. A 4 out of 5.

Ooooh we getting a bit spicy!
First we deal with the bathhouse younger sister's friend who is just a weirdo but leads to some funny as hell moments. Also Nasa gets sickies and Tsukasa has to take care of him. It shows good character moments that helps build the relationship. Also the fact Nasa wants to be closer, more sexual with Tsukasa, works really well as he's not too pushy but lets her know what's on his mind. Lot of bathhouse romance moments.
Give me more!

This is the best volume for me.
First off Miyamura and Hori take their relationship to the next level. They finally do the deed, get it on, bang bang...You get what I'm saying. But it's nice and refreshing it happens and it is treated like normal and not like "the end game" like most romance teen dramas. The relationship keeps growing in unique ways to help make them interesting.
Also Miyamura and his buddy have a FUNNY as hell moment where they don't want to take off their clothes for swim class. TOO funny and the joke goes on almost a whole chapter but it is filled with lolz.
I'm curious how this keeps going. I feel like there's some darker storyline or part I'm not fully getting. Sometimes the characters act very strange. Interested to see where it goes.
