I love Godzilla. I enjoyed the art in this one...for the most part.

However, this was a useless story to tell. If you want some nice wallpapers for your computer screen you can't go wrong with picking from this book. Got Godzilla angry, shooting atomic breath, and stomping on shit. That's what the king does best.

On the flipside the story in here, if you want to call it that, is almost non-existent. The only dialog is in issue 2, and it's cliche as can be. The other dialog is spread throughout and usually just a phrase or one word repeated over and over again. Now true, not all comics need words to tell the story. You can do it through emotion, though actions, right?

Not here. The story is pretty shitty and the end result feels like a "meh" when you to get to it. I won't spoil what happens but you can kind of guess.

Actually, don't guess. Don't even think about this one. It isn't worth your time.

2.5 to make it clear. This is RIGHT down the middle.

So what if you created a villain with no constraints. You'd get Nemesis. He'll slice your dick off, he'll make your kids have sex with each other, he'll strap a bomb to your wife. He'll do whatever it takes, he has no limits, he is...THE NEMESIS.

This probably would have been cooler if I was 16 still and just wanted mindless insane action without any real characters. You can kill a million people, you can force incest as much as you want, but in the end if you don't have characters to care about...what's the point?

Oh yeah, shock factor. Well this story does a pretty good job at that.

Listen, this isn't a horrible story, hence the 2.5. It's actually a very quick read, the pacing is solid, there's no boring parts, and there are some crazy amount of violent moments. That's it though. There isn't much more to find here. It's like seeing a really cool action figure, you put it up, but never really look at it again. Okay...that was dumb, but you get the point.

This is a empty book with no real soul, just mindless violence. Which could mean a good time, which I had, but nothing I'll remember.

I think I liked this one more than the first even. I think it's because I liked the side characters more.

I love reimagined storylines. You have the freedom to play with the origins of characters, combined characters, change characters. It's why some of my favorite stories like Injustice, Ultimate Spider-man, and such are so high on my list. Because they're just more fun that way.

So here we got the Riddler as the main baddie. He's a asshole like usual but even more fucked up. Usually Riddler plays by his own rules but this one really doesn't give a shit. Also Killer Croc has a awesome twist, I wont spoil, but I did love.

Batman is finally becoming the badass we all know him as, but it's taking time, and that I love. Also Alfred is still a goddamn boss.

Oevrall like the feel and look of it, want a volume 3.

It's around a 3.5. Almost a 4 for me, so going with a 4 star.

This volume is broken into 3 arcs. 1st arc is easily the best. A sick rapist/torturer kidnapped a 10 year old girl 18 years ago and did unspeakable things. Now he's out and going through re-trail, and has his eyes set on his original target. Oliver decides to take this mission on and protecting her while confronting this sick fuck.

The best part about this arc is to see Black Canary grow with Oliver but also Oliver's policy. He does like to protect people and doesn't like to kill...but won't mean he won't. And it makes the end result of this arc both interesting and exciting.

Next arc is the weakest. It's random and besides the great romance between Oliver and Canary, the rest of this was meh. I really didn't care about this secret Biological weapon or who was fighting who. Just nothing special about this one.

HOWEVER the third arc is interesting, if sometimes a little on the nose and kind of corny. It's about people (gays) getting beaten (and some killed) and Oliver needs to find out why. The end result is both intriguing but also little silly at times. Also just a tiny bit rushed. Still, it's enjoyable arc that made this score pop back up to a 3.5 or even a 4.

Worth checking out for ANY Green Arrow fan. Some darker tales, but in a good way.

So wrote a whole review and now it's gone...so fuck my life.

This is some good stuff, the ending made me want more, and if you like violence, some sex, and a lot of cursing go grab it.

I was ready to give this 3 stars. Wanna know why? Because I'M THE GODDAMN BATMAN!

No, but really, I was. Because this story was so out of left field, so fucking insane, so dumb, it was fun to read. I mean you had Batman just being all kinds of crazy. Like he's call Robin retarded, he'd break people's faces while screaming "WHAT!? WHAT THIS!" and you had insane amount of over the top brutal action with laugh out loud dialog like "This cave looks like it's for queers." and Batman responding with the best line of all time. "Shut up."

SO why isn't this rated higher? Because it feels so disjointed. You have some Batgirl here, some Black Canary, a little bit of Wonder Women, and yet none of it connects. I guess this story was suppose to be longer cause it all drops by issue 10, and that issue is terrible. The one before it is hilarious with the Green Lantern losing to fucking ROBIN of all people, but the rest of the ending is garbage.

But yeah if you want some great laughs check this out. If you want a good comic, stay away.

Another solid volume. I'm a huge horror fan and this series just calls to me as much as Nailbiter, but for different reasons.

This volume picks up where the last left off. Megan is possessed and Kyle and the Rev are trying to get that little pesky violent as fuck demon out. It was tense and sad results lead to a lot of well crafted character development. I also LOVED the one possession storyline with the big guy who nearly did some fucked up shit to Kyle. You learn more and more about these demons the further we get into the series. It's both intriguing and interesting and I hope it continues to do so.

The volume ends with a "Oh shit" moment and hope the next is just as good.

Fuck I love this series. It's so goddamn entertaining. Some lines don't connect, some are a bit over the top, some events can be a bit iffy but it's freaking entertaining throughout. I just love the interaction with all the characters and the fact NO ONE IS SAFE. Also the ending is goddamn epic and so worth checking out. I can't recommend this title enough, one of the most fun reads I've had in my comic time.

Few Manga's really grab me in like this. The sense of different layers throughout. Trying to understand all the different themes of what it truly means to be human are amazing with funny moments and well established characters. Great stuff and can't wait to continue this wonderful, and through-provoking, series.
