More of the same, but it is cute, and I like that.
What makes this series is the calm and nice feeling of being this couple who is almost family like. To have the two leads care for the little brother works real well. Some really cute moments. On top of that the art remains great. I liked that we actually got some hitting and punching here, too many love stories and not enough fighting in them! Also the art is great. While nothing amazing the rom-com works well for here and excited to see the two finally start dating soon.

This was pretty damn awesome.
A monster lives in a cave and is a piece of shit who kills people. So once a big figure in the town is killed the daughter and co try to hunt this beast down. But this beast might be stronger than expected and more vengeful in the end.
Some awesome pacing, great dark moody art that really brings the town to life, and a smooth script that makes for some monster killing badass characters. Overall, if like monster hunting type storylines this is the one.

Sunstone continues to move along as we get more background between Alan and Ally and Anne and Laura getting their lesbian on.
As always these stories are filled with wholesome stories of love and passion mixed in with hot sexy BDSM and regular sex thrown in to every once in awhile. The fact Stjepan is telling a backstory to two characters we already know yet still make it interesting is pretty talented. It also helps his art is still gorgeous here.
The scenes with Anne's father meeting Laura are just too funny. The fact we see Alan and Ally finally become closer friends instead of just fuck buddies is perfect. The overall build up towards both these relationships and what would be terrible events down the line for both of them to learn before eventually Alan and Anne meet years later and fall in love is great to view even if it feels like it does have some padding.
But as always Sunstone is a joy to read. A 4 out of 5.

Get some answers but get alot more questions.
This was a decent volume. Some great fighting moments, few cool answer to things, but it feels like the "mystery" of it all is dragging on now. I might drop this series for awhile if next volume doesn't pick up.

Spider-Man: Revenge of the Green Goblin
Roger Stern, Mark Buckingham, Howard Mackie, Ron Frenz, Paul Jenkins, John Romita Jr.
Messy and mostly dull save for the couple issues written by Paul. The actual revenge plot was okay. Rest was meh as meh can be.
I still absolutely love this title.
This time we have Asako wanting to do something special for Koutarou for Valentine's day. So she decides to get some sexy clothing which turns out to be a really sweet, and then very sexy, moment later. We also deal with the couple finally moving in together. Anyone who's moved in with your partner knows this can be an interesting time in your life, getting used to someone in your life all the time, good and bad.
I really loved that they had their first kind of fight. And the fact Asako finally spoke up for herself. They are learning from each other, and TALKING, which is such a nice change of pace from the normal fake drama in romance. The art stays great, a good mix of comedy bits, funny faces, really great shots, and good sex scenes.
This is probably going down as one of the best romance mangas of all time IMO.

A typical start to a sport manga but I'm intrigued where we can go from here.
Ryoma is a genius. His natural skill at Tennis is near unmatched. At only 12 years old he can already match high schoolers and is even better than some of them. This gives him a somewhat cocky viewpoint on things but what I did love was the fact he was still kind. Usually, Genius characters can be annoying but worked well for this type of character.
The art is great, with some wonderful details to the games being played. The character's designs are unique but not TOO over the top that it becomes silly. The start of him showing off but eventually bigger, stronger, better players enter the view he might be so lucky.
But yeah, I'm in. Started reading on Shonen so we got a ways to go before we're done here.
A 3.5 out of 5.

The new scum...well Warren, this title didn't age well for what's happening to you, huh buddy?
All bullshit aside because I'm reviewing the actual story/art here, not the (scumbag behavior of the writer) and there's a lot of good here.
Spider is now dealing with the aftermath of the death of someone he actually liked. With that, he goes for the two trying to become president. Gets a nice look into both of their views. Guess what? They're both scumbags. Similar to most of our presidents. However, the biggest takeaway is Spider is pushed into a corner, which one is worse? On top of that, we get some really funny moments with the two ladies.
Overall, this is still really fun to read. The art is fantastic. The situations are interesting. Spider is NEVER dull. I really am enjoying myself. The series is somewhat tainted by recent acts of Ellis but I can't deny I'm enjoying this read a lot.

Now that we're getting into the characters more this volume worked for me.
Yona is with Hak most of this volume as she learns to finally be a person again. After the events of the last volume she's still recovering and it's in this volume she learns who is truly important to her. With that, we get the Wind Tribe and all the other tribes meeting to accept a new King in the bastard we know who betrayed us all. But mostly I want to know why he really did it as you can tell they leave some clue into the real motivations here.
Overall, the fights are bigger and better here, Hak is a badass, Yona is finally coming back to herself, and the plot is moving at a solid pace. The comedic bits work well to break up the heavy story at times, and less exposition and more natural dialogue here. We're moving forward with a interesting Fantasy plot I can dig.

Too many cooks in the kitchen.
While it sounds like the plotline was done by cates too many different writers make characters feel different and act different issue to issue. I also wasn't a huge fan of some of the choices these characters made or rhe silly twist at the end.
However the art was solid, some cool fight scenes, the mystery was intriguing enough, and was cool to see these characters all team up. Didn't blow me away overall but was decent.
