This was bonkers, weird, and fun all in one.
With series like this you have about 18-20 different stories so the vary in quality. Some didn't hit the mark (The ones with the guy always not focused on his studies was lame) but most of them were cute/funny. The three best being the one about the principle fighting a deer, the robot girl acting like she's not a robot, and my favorite probably was the principle's speech to his student with terrible puns.
I don't know if this series was trying anything more than giving us some funny gags but for the most part it successes. I bought volume 1-4 since I got a good deal (About 24 for all 4) I'm interested to see what comes next.

Whoa a Black Widow comic I enjoyed?
First let us talk about the art. It is fantastic. Some of the clearest and best fight scenes in comics in some time for me. It also helps Thompson gives a great script with lots of funny moments and a ton of heart to Natasha. On top of all that we get some emotional payoff with some shockingly sad moments yet some major growth for Black Widow as a character.
I'd say the weakest part of this whole story was we know it would almost restart despite giving us a new status quo for a few issues. Which made me sad because I'd love to see how Natasha would of had to deal with the major changes. However, Natasha has changed completely changed by the end in one major way and I want to see where Kelly Thompson takes her next.

A almost bridge volume as a lot of characters talk about the past while giving a new path for a couple of them by the end.
It sucks Redneck comes out so far between each issue now. It is expected as Cates is now one of the biggest writers in comics but still, I love Redneck. I'd like to see it come out quicker so I don't forget big moments.
Still this volume gives a "Let's talk about these new characters and their powers, and why they're so strong" before leading into the, what I presume, is the final war arc. With plenty of backstory, learning who Dracula is, who the first is, and a brutal ending, we're left with only one questions. How will we survive?

CUTENESS OVERLOADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, I love this book. At this point in the book the sister is trying to make sure they're really in love. Spying on them as they travel on their way to meet Nasa's parents. There's some really cute moments mixed with a great line from Nasa "You don't marry someone because you love them. You marry them to prove you love them." Great stuff.
Then we hit the last few chapters with Nasa's parents. SO cute and a surprise of emotional bits that made me feel a lot of feels.
Overall, if you love Rom-Com this book is hands down one of the best IMO.

Man, now I see why people were pissed Taylor was pulled off SS so soon.
In just a few issues Taylor decides to flip Suicide Squad idea on its head. Instead of being the same "stuck with working for pieces of shit" they break free of the bullshit chips and this suicide squad is SO mixed with characters you really don't know who is bad and who is good. What I probably liked the most was the start as people died...fast. Some big major characters died as well or least last shown dying.
The art is fantastic. Showing vibrant fights and excellect facial expresions for almost all the characters. I also loved how we go to various location and now stuck in a dirty jail cell the whole time. Helps the dialogue works well with Taylor and plenty of Loltastic moments.
Overall, a upbeat and super fun Suicide Squad book. I personally would have loved a 20-25 issue run but glad we atleast got 9 solid issues.

Nightwing continues to deliver the goods as we get into the "heart" of the story. Dick is trying to find a balance with his new found money and helping the community. Even when he does an act of goodness he learns there is always a bad side to it. While that is happening a villain makes his appearence, well semi, we don't know how they look yet. While not as fantastic as last issue it was still great with amazing art. A 4 out of 5.
This to me is when Invicible went from great to "HOLY SHIT ONE OF THE BEST COMICS EVER" And it still holds up.
We start off with a invasion of Invincible from different multiverses. They all come to the main one and attack not only Invincible but every hero on the planet. It takes everyone to even fend them off but of course it's not that simple as the eventually overtake the planet. But due to greediness of them they might not get what they want. Just when we get a breather in comes Conquest. The one who challenges Mark to the death just because he's tired of waiting for Mark to make his move to control the planet. After that we also get various plotlines I won't spoil but they begin to question if Mark is doing what he's doing right, and more of Allen and Nolan which is a huge plus in my book.
This is a fantastic collection. Probably one of the strongest in the whole series since get SO many wonderful plotlines, great fights, and emotional moments that'll make you go "WHAT THE FUCK" and cry. I really love Invincible, it might even be my favorite comic of all time, and it mostly began to happen around this part of the series.

You have a scumbag main character who shoots up a lot, is a dick, says whatever he wants, shits in public, and becomes a super spy like hero to save the world. How can a concept so batshit insane be so boring?
Remender will always be a great writer for me just due to Uncanny X-Men, Deadly Class, Black Science, and Low (Which are ALL far better than this) But man did he drop the ball big here. Scumbag just fails to do anything new or fun. It just has a over the top character you'd see in any Garth Ennis book but without any heart or whit.
Listen, I'm all for dunking on the altright. Making fun of terms like Cuck and "Virtual Signing" and all that. Rememnder clearly shows how brainwashed they are and I hear idiots on Twitter use the same verbage so he isn't lying. But it's not really funny here. It doesn't really add much to the story. Maybe if Ernie (Scumbag) was a more interesting, fun, and exciting character I can get behind it, but he's just a loser with almost no redeeming qualities and not funny at all.
I get Remender was coming out of his comfort zone for this. Trying to give us one of the most unlikeable characters without any redeeming qualities instead of multilayered characters (See Low, Deadly Class, and Black Science) but this was a huge miss IMO. Nothing really worked.
The art also changes a lot due to different artist and while none bad it made the flow of the story feel disjointed too.
Yeah...overall this is a big old NOPE from me. Well worth skipping over.

This is me stepping out of my norm and going into the teenage girl area of manga but honestly this was pretty enjoyable.
Basically a newlywed husband and wife are not on the best terms. The Husband is kind of a piece of shit assaulter. He takes what he wants as he says. Forcing her to kiss him and grabbing her hair plenty. It's kind of gross but they quickly address it by showing Nakaba (The main lead girl) doesn't take that shit easy and with her Ajin (Loki) they work together to try to get through this hellish place.
But it soon turns more into a love story. Multiple possible love interest on top of that as well. The art is gorgeous and showcases both men and women in a lot of "Whoa beautiful" look to it all. The ending also got me interested to see who gets with who. While weird, and some assault portions didn't sit too well with me, the fast paced, well done dialogue, and great art help a lot.

This was a weird over the top reboot, remix, whatever want to call it for the original Devilman which I haven't read yet only seen the OVA and the new Crybaby series. But this was still entertaining as hell.
So the story starts off similar. You have Miki and Akira as childhood friends. Akira is one day bestowed upon the devilman himself, Amon. So this devilman is an extremely strong demon who shreads apart any demons in his ways. Demons even try to break through the and hurt Amon by going after Miki, setting him off.
It's over the top, lots of sexual content (even have Miki naked for like 40 pages fighting) and plenty of gore. It's violent, crazy, and somehow still really enjoyable for most part. Don't take it seriously and you'll enjoy it.
