Ah the Governor, good old raping piece of dogshit.

See this to me was when shit got real. When "holy shit humans can be just as shitty". When Rick and the crew see a Helicopter crash they decide to go out and find out what happened. Him, Glenn, and Michonne find more than they expected as they finally reach a new town. Inside that town has horror's they couldn't imagine and it gets way out of hand...yes I made a joke.

Overall, this is a intense, bloody, fucked up volume. So much backstabbing, shocking moments, brutal sickening things done to characters we like, and ones we hate, it's so back and forth with emotion you don't know what the hell is going to happen. This is walking dead at its finest.

A 4.5 out of 5.

This was a step down from the last volume.

We end the last fight with Yumi taking over. I was actually impressed to see the Captain whoop some ass. Then we get a bunch of exposition throughout the next few chapters and learn about what else is happening in the world of Black Clover. Then we see Astra buddy team fight and it's just okay. Then we get to Astra arms and what happened to him.

The ending and start are the best part of this volume. The middle, while not bad, is just okay. It slows down the action and gives us a less than interesting look at the other team. But anything with Yumi or Astra learning about his future was great.

This was just okay. The stories are all supposed to come together, and they do, but not in a exciting way.

The best parts were Hulk and Dr. Strange issues for sure. A darker tone and a interesting narrative for both of those. The rest of the stories telling a story that eventually leads Defenders to team up against but by the time we get there I hardly cared and it became so convoluted it became kind of a fucking dumb.

So yeah a 2 out of 5.

A okay ending to a otherwise great, weird, and fucked up series.

This is only about 80 pages of story. You have all the protagonists coming to face this demon/monster. A lot of trippy moments here, some really cool ways to do the art as well. I enjoyed the look into family and helping one another. The main "Villain' was easily finished off though and the zinger ending didn't do TOO much for me.

But still it was entertaining and looked great. The series as a whole was great, this volume though was the weakest. A 3 out of 5.

Asta gets his arms healed super quick...that was kind of anti-climatic.

Either way then we fight the next wave of baddies. I feel like it's just talk, fun adventures, big baddies, and repeat. Starting to feel a bit like Bleach with the Daja Vu here.

But thankfully it's fast paced, Asta and crew fights are fun to watch, and even though it's nothing special it's fun enough to read.

This volume is even better than the first, really letting the humor fly and mostly landing.

This is Nasa and Tsukasa trying to be a married couple. Miscommunication always happens and when both are thinking there is different issues, both try to fix different things. Not to mention you meet Nasa's childhood friends and oh my, a perverted girl and a semi-idiotic girl who runs a bathhouse. Good times. Then you meet Tsukasa family and a jealous sister and a maid + warrior. All hell breaks loose.

The series even breaks the 4th wall a few times but it works so well here. Lots of great laugh out loud moments, awesome tender sweet moments with the two main characters, and some just happy fill your heart with joy moments.

This is becoming a super pleasure to read.

I like how this is evolving more into a story about being at peace with yourself and proud of yourself with the love story sprinkled in.

We now have Mizuki trying to be okay with working and being in love with Kondou. The thing is Kondou is still living a past life, still unsure of himself, still not being too proud of who or what he is. But Mizuki is breaking through that little by little. We are introduced to a new character who is upset that Mizuki has quit running as well which brings up interesting storyline. Also the fact nishida gets some love and her quest to find her happiness.

Overall, a really exciting volume watching some great moments of characters trying to better themselves. It is not everyday get to see people wanting or trying to be better. I also love Mizuki's conviction and her goals.

Overall, another great volume. A 4 out of 5.

This was fucking insane.

So got a girlfriend and boyfriend on vacation. She has super smelling and can't stand his stinky breath. He don't like that. But before we can get any further between these lovebirds we are introduced to a fish with legs! So while they try to get rid of this disgusting smelling fish more of them start to show up. Soon a SHARK WITH LEGS ATTACKS. Then it gets crazier and crazier till there ain't much crazier you can get.

This is pretty crazy. The pacing is so quick and insane it keeps it entertaining. The characters are either over the top stupid or funny as hell. The designs of these creatures are both funny and stupid and horrifying all in one. Pretty much if don't take this too seriously it is a blast. If try to think too hard about it...well...

Loved this volume because Yusuke and Karama get to shine, and those are my boys!

THis is mostly a 2 verse 5 fight here. With three of the team members out of the fight, Yusuke and Karama have to face everyone. The fights get brutal as Karama tries his best to win and gets tricked at one point, leading him down a dangerous path. On flipside Yusuke is fired up but he won't be able to win his own matches as easy as he hoped either.

This is a really fun volume. Lots of great fights, emotional moments with Yusuke getting pissed, and lots of fun ways to win. Tournaments can be tedious or boring but Yu Yu Hakusho makes them a ton of fun and while the stakes aren't TOO high they keep them interesting.

A weird, trapped in a school, can't get out, who's dead and who's not story.

It feels like I've read a story just like this before. The idea of kids trapped in a building or school with no way out has been done. THe intriguing thing here is "Who died?". The story opens with someone killing themselves and through the kids being trapped in we're trying to piece together who died and why...or if they're all dead...

The story moves a bit slow for me. And I feel like I've read it before. However, the art is fantastic as well as the dialogue being really solid for most part. The pacing is the biggest issue I currently have but I'm hoping it'll speed up as it goes. For now though I am intrigued enough to find out where we go from here.
