A kind of obvious ending as it is a prequel to the end of original deceased. Saying that was still a fun trip.
Sharon gets the spotlight here as she goes through the trials and tribulation to become a even better version of herself.
After a evil Selene decides to use her powers for no good Cap and his crew work together to fight back. We get to see some cool team ups, some uplifting messages for women, and a fucked up ending with one of our characters in grave danger.
The thing is this volume isn't explosive or crazy good as I hoped it would be. I really loved the start of this run but last two volumes, while a good slow burn, feel like they're lacking a bit. Still, as a cap fan, they are enjoyable. A 3 out of 5.

This is probably the most consistent series Saladin has written for me. Miles stays interesting as the writer has got his voice for the character down so well. On top of that the art is perfect mix of comics/cartoon with great coloring.
So Miles now is taking care of his little sister on top of everything else. Luckily he loves doing that but he also has to save lives while doing it. A nice little one shot shows just who miles is and why he deserves to be called Spider-Man. ON top of that we get closure on the Ultimate line here as we begin to piece together what happened to Miles and his timeline.
The ending is a little predictable and kind of tired of this character dying/almost dying. But everything else was pretty damn fun, exciting, and enjoyable. A 4 out of 5.

Super cute and wholesome Rom-Com slice of life.
Uzaki-Chan follows her Sanpai everywhere. Basically teasing him but also secretly getting him to do more, interact with people, basically learn to be social. Through their adventures they head to the movies, go glasses shopping, and even cooking.
What I enjoyed was you can tell the chemistry for these two works well. Both like each other, but make fun of each other, but it's never over the top or in mean spirited ways. The fan service is there but not flaunting itself everywhere. Few panty shots and quick boob grabs but nothing over the top. Overall, if looking for a cute series with two fun main characters, this will work out well.

This is pretty disturbing series about a girl who abuses and uses a boy for her own sexual fetish. And it would be straight up horror if it wasn't for the fact the guy is also a sleezy perverted scumbag.
The story waste no time building up characters. Our main character is getting bad grades, nobody likes him, his parents are disappointed in him. The only thing that gives him relief is taking upskirt photos of girls with his phone. Panties and the perverted side of it all makes him joyful. But one day he tries it on the wrong girl who tells him she'll report it. So when he begs to do anything not to show the police she ties him up and uses him anyway she wants from forcing him to pee or waiting for his parents to get back home to show them what a pervert he is.
This isn't really a joyful series to read. There's no "oh but she really means well" feel to it in the end. This is a vicious, fucked up, and morally wrong book. So there's no happy ending here.
Saying that, it is pretty disturbing and I couldn't stop reading it. I wanted to see how far she would take things, and at certain points it was truly fucked up. Both shitty people doing shitty things. If that sounds interesting, this may work for you.

I thought dick was back last volume but I guess not fully. Now we have a crystal that'll bring him back. Just have to read 200 pages of the insufferable ric with a joker twist to do so.
Least art was okay.

Most of this volume I was just like...what the fuck is happening?
No really, this volume is the most insane shit I've read in awhile. Getting dragged into hell, astronaut spouting out hands, people getting turned into ribbons, it is the weirdest shit ever. I mean I was interested but I couldn't tell you what the hell was happening if you had a gun to my head.
Saying that the visuals get to be amazing since it is so weird. This has some of the most wicked looking monster designs, deaths, and environments the series has to offer so far. The ending to this arc too was brutal as it shows how some characters really have NO remorse.
A 3.5 out of 5. My least favorite arc storywise in awhile but the visuals made it worth it.

I'll be honest I couldn't even finish this.
I'm so glad Scott Snyder is stepping away from most of DC for awhile. I'm eager to get back to his American Vampire series when the newest volume drops. I'm eager to see what else he can create indie wise. I'm even excited to see if he does do more DC. But he needs a break. He needs to be away from Batman. He just needs to stop trying these big, over the top, grant morrison style stories.
Scott Snyder can be very talented. His early Batman work, American Vampire, Wytches, and so on prove this. So I don't know why he won't return to that. There's glimmers of it here or there but otherwise this book is everything I dislike in comics. Big explosive over the top storyline with millions of characters and a storyline so stupid it makes no sense in the end, with trying to be Meta-commentary but failing, on top of exposition so thick it might aswell have the words just cover the entire page instead of showing the little art it does.
Anyway, enough of my rant. I hate this storyline. The art is good as always but even that can't save this. I hope these two very talented writer/artist combo go back to what made their earlier stuff so special.
