Another solid volume even do I do wonder how long this cat and mouse type game can go on.
We do get a background of a main character, and while it worked, it didn't do much for me. I felt like we've seen the whole feeling guilty for being a dick but being a good person done so many times before, and better. This came off as rather shallow try. But the stuff with the older user and his wife was all great and the art is still fantastic.
A 3 out of 5.

This was actually a pretty great volume.
The end of a era as one of the main characters is killed. There's no coming back from this death as it cements a brutal finish and a heavy weight will be carried to other characters. We also get the fight we've been waiting for. Sasuke verses Itachi, and it's pretty goddamn awesome to see both go all out. No more holding back and it shows.
Overall, fast paced and exciting volume.

Obviously Chris grew up reading Brubaker's worth because...this is Brubaker-Lite.
That's not a bad thing. In fact more comics that feature brutal crime stories is a good thing to me. When a brother comes into an old town to find out what happened, everyone begins betraying everyone. Deaths pile up quick, revenge is on everyone's mind.
And here's the thing. I couldn't get invested in the characters at all. Everyone fell flat for me. The art? Amazing. The dialogue? Solid. But I didn't care to root or like anyone.
Also...and I know this was done on purpose (I believe so anyway) but if one more fucking person said "Well" I was going to fucking KILL SOMEONE!!!!
Anyway, it was solid but I feel a little let down overall.

If want to just sit back and enjoy a really cute story of a man and his cat bonding, this is for you.
See, Kanda here has lost his wife not too long ago it seems. The story dances around the timeline but you can feel the loneliness of the older gentleman. But soon into the book we meet Fukumaru. Who's that? Well he's a fat cat who no one wants to buy and the poor cat is getting older and older and soon will probably be sent to a shelter. So Kanda buys him and they begin their life together.
It's a lot of small stories of how Fukumaru and Kanda rely on each other to grow and be happy once more. Fukumaru glad he has a dad, a home, and fun times ahead. Kanda is focused on regaining his happiness and with the help of Fukumaru he'll do just that. The bond between the two is both cute and well done.
It can get a little repetitive at points but overall this was too charming to care too much. A 4 out of 5.

This one was solid with a intense shootout and escape plan but the conversation between the two leads felt a bit repetitive to earlier convos. Also too many characters who look familiar. But overall still good.
I gotta admit this series is entertaining if nothing else. This finishes up the big epic fight in a nice fashion. Then we take a short break for a comedy chapter that kind of works. Then back to a main mission with two different magic companies trying to finish a dugeon.
The fights are easy to follow which is nice and look good. The fan service finally reveals itself as the main girl gets tied up like bandage style and her ass shows. Lame. But anyway the ending is actually pretty great and got me excited for volume 3.

We slow down a bit on titan warfare to give us more time focused on political warfare and the fight against the people who know the secrets.
This is basically the regular people verse the 1% who control everything. In a clever and interesting way Erwin along with Levi and the others try to figure out a way to turn the tides here in this huge epic battle of who will control the future of everyone. Before that though we do focus on Erin, find out more about why he's so important, a new power is unlocked, and a new queen is pushed into the spotlight that'll shape the future of this series.
This is a great volume once more. Some would say the slowing down of pacing is a bit rough or jarring but reading it in one big book it all makes sense and the final reveal makes the slow burn worth every damn moment.
I also can't comment how great the artwork is, only getting better with each volume. The final moments lead to a "What the fuck?" moment that was just as shocking as the TV show.
Attack On Titan might be one of the best manga/animes of all time if the ending of the entire thing lands. Must read.

This is one of the best romance mangas I've ever read. SO CUTE.
So Asako starts off questioning Natori's assistant. It's super cute how jealous she is. She's not mean about it but just always wondering if she's good enough. And I think this is something people can all relate too, especially at the start of a relationship. Then we get into Asako's family and Natori going with her on a dinner date to meet her brother.
This is a really charming series, with such a great look into a working relationship with bumps along the way that most people go through. The dialogue is strong, the art is excellent, it has sexy moments but doesn't rely on them, and the ending is building towards more fun storylines.
Charming, sweet, cute, sexy, all in one package. Sweat and Soap is a manga you need to read.

The star is Conan because he's too funny.
This isn't really a avengers title. It's just conan visiting a couple of avengers members and working together to fuck shit up. He even teams up with doom here in a weird yet funny way he works well together with the crazy bastard and Dr. Strange joins on the trip.
It's fast paced, bloody, stupid, fun, dumb, all of the things you might expect. Conan makes the title worth reading. I don't know how long it'll go on for but not bad for what it is. A 3 out of 5.

First story - 4
Second story - 3
Overall the first is still interesting and I like how Mariko is writing Bruce so lost but not giving up yet.
Second story is decent with red hood but the art was jarring.
