SUPER CUTE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has got to be one of the biggest surprises I've read in awhile. Thanks to a few reviews on here from friends I decided to finally pick this up because they were raving about it. SO GLAD I DID. Okay so you can read the summary here but to cut it short, Asako Yeshima is a toiletry maker for a company where an inventor of soaps and such, Kotaro Natori works. One day she's passing by and Natori smells her and can't get enough, it's one of the best smells ever and he has to keep getting sniffs.

Now it sounds weird, I know. You're like "Ewww. I don't like to smell body Oder." but here's the thing. It's done in a non-gross way, with actual adult conversations, ranging from having sex for the first time, dating, being okay with other people they work with, and so on. On top of that the relationship is so dang cute, both characters are just to adorable for words, and while the whole "super shy woman" thing can get boring it's worked well here and Natori keeps giving her the space and time to accept things in a relationship.

I really enjoyed their first date and also the fact when there was someone who worked for Natori, Asako was jealous, and they dealt with it in a very ADULT way that was so refreshing in anime/manga.

So I bought volume 2-5 right after I finished volume 1. This is my feel good series I need in life after 2020. A 5 out of 5.

Jon as Superman is a super fun idea. The whole idea of him shrinking Metropolis is crazy and new. But the pacing felt like it was a bit dragged out. The second storyline was nothing that interesting with Mister Miracle.

This is a decent start and I'll check out more. A 3 out of 5.

Having the Paybacks show up was a little cheesy since it's one of the lesser known cates series but...the rest of this issue was a blast. The opening is perfect, the ending even better, and I'm really starting to fall for these characters. Crossover is going to be a comic I believe people will talk about for a long time after done. This is a easy 4 out of 5.

Dark, moody, a bit violent...what you want from a swamp thing series. Great to see Swamp Thing with a family now, but when he finds man once more, what dark horrors await him and his people in the future?

A 4 out of 5.

Holy shit joker having control of the green lantern body was horrifying. This is him at some of his worst (in the best way possible) a great chapter.

Got bored half way. Cool idea but the various stories from a book seller could be done far more interesting than this. None of the stories stuck out. Art was solid tho.

This was decent. Some cool moments and bringing characters all together from different generations is cool. Easy to follow which was a nice surprise. Some art was great, some not so much, the jarring changes every few pages was odd. Will check up the follow-up.

So it comes to a end. I remember reading this like 10 years ago now haha.

So I'm just going to cut out most of what it is about because it's major spoilers. Just know it has a lot to do with time travel, why they have this power, and what happens after it is gone. That's the majority of this book. The last issue is kind of the final cap on it all as it jumps ahead years and we see all our characters and where they are in life.

And see, the last issue is actually really solid. Made me laugh, made me smile, and the ending felt perfect. But the actual plot, the bad guy, the overuse of sexual things to put funny situations but weren't that funny is there. I mean there's still al ot of funny parts, but the whole evil guy who don't give a fuck, is boring here.

But overall the series ends solid enough. Nothing compared to its first 3 volumes but I enjoyed it none the less. A 3 out of 5.

I have to be honest I expected more.

Greg Rucka is a fine writer, and there's moments here that are brilliant. I love Lois here, as she's strong, smart, and always two steps ahead even in a mystery. But the actual plot, side characters, and the length all go against it IMO. Nothing comes off "must read" and the whole mystery of who's doing what is kind of predictable if not bland. While I think it's written well enough and art is solid I can't say it's amazing. A decent read.

A bunch of batman tales...feels very Saturday morning cartoon with a lot more violence. The best one is probably the first with spectre but the rest are just okay. The Joker one feels out of place and just kind of there, and the deadshot was just decent. Art is solid throughout though. Not my favorite book by Peter but his writing is still fun enough when the plot is just okay. A 3 out of 5.
