Wow this was the best volume in Naruto I read in a long time.

This time we have Sai backstory and though told nicely instead of just shown in flashbacks, you get all you need to start rooting for the guy. The story likes to go back and forth on him if you should trust him, making him feel like a double agent at all times. Smart and fun. Sasuke makes his grand reappearance here and Naruto and co have to deal with it head on. Just how strong did Sasuke get over the few years? Well you take a guess. The dude always been super saiyan levels.

Overall, a ton of fun this volume, great fight scenes, and some emotional payoff. Nice job Naruto. A 4 out of 5.

Holy shit a twisty twist volume with everything coming undone.

This is pretty great to be honest. With the reveal of the true bad guy we get a non-stop chase of everyone trying to stop him. All the fighting comes to a halt once the villain shows their true face and when he does, he proves to be stronger than almost anyone around. With brutal "fights", if I can call getting owned in two seconds a fight, plus some amazing twist that help elevate multiple characters, this is easily the best volume yet.

I'ma bout to go into unknown territory with Bleach soon but this is some of the best shit around in this series. Well worth the build up. A 4.5 out of 5.

Kind of wonky and way too quickly paced. I like Tini Howard stuff usually but Excalibur is not for me. Least we got two more champions.

Batman, superman, and robin go to help more people. The problem with that is the invading army breaks through and we're all screwed.

Faster than a speeding bullet...last few pages are pure chills in the best way.

A real creepy book about a girl going into a dollhouse but the background is obviously a lot darker.

After witnessing her father being abusive to her mother, Alice goes into a dollhouse given to her by her grandma. She meets the nice folks inside except for the "Black Evil Room" which basically is a demon fucking with her and wanting to make a deal/pact. Alice tells her to fuck off and then of course the demon is super pissed and spends the rest of the time messing with Alice through her kid/teen/adult years while you also get some background on the family line of Alice.

I really enjoyed Alice as a lead. Strong, dependable, and very much a interesting main lead. I loved pretty much that entire portion as well as the twisted fucked up ending. The backstory of the family line was interesting but I can't say I was much invested in any of them. The art was pretty solid and some panels were horrifying to view.

Overall really solid. Better than The Low Low, but not as good as Basket. A 4 out of 5.

A compelling look into a life of a man wanting to do good but also hating himself and his past. Just because you do good things sometimes, doesn't mean you don't have things that haunt you. Tony and his friend Hellcat, and working through a lot of internal issues while trying to save the world with fantastic art. Little slow paced but digging it.

Much better than last book but not as good as the first.

This one focuses on two kids who get tapes of the brothers from the original story and basically they want to be copycats but they fuck up a ton and are losers. On the flip side we have Caleb dealing with his violent urges while not trying to act on them. And while all this happens both of these stories begin to come onto one another till it reaches a bloody climax.

And that's the thing. The way these characters all connect is a lot of "wow, how convent" situation. It is a bit annoying and some plot points just get dropped quickly. BUT I did like most of the character interactions, you really hate the villains, and I loved the fact Caleb is a badass but not unstoppable. Overall all good stuff there.

A pretty fun series overall, some ups, some downs, but it all worked. A 4 out of 5.

Delirium, Dream's sister, decides she wants to find her brother who has left his duties and is gone. So she goes around asking her family and eventually lands on Dream, who surprisingly agrees mostly because he's heartbroken his love left him.

So together they begin to travel the world trying to find their brother. Going from strip bars, to meeting other gods, to taking a chance against the odds and losing, to crazy driving adventures, and eventually landing on Dream visiting his son and asking him for help. This crazy, zanny, heartbreaking adventure ends in such a way I was expecting yet oddly hit me hard.

This is easily my favorite volume. It's packed with plenty of emotional scenes, scenes you can think on for awhile, and some comedy bits that help keep it going. The relationship between Dream and Delirium is near perfect and I couldn't have loved it more. The other family members who pop in all do their duties and when you meet their brother Destruction you really feel a sense that this guy has been through some shit and just wants to live his life, and we can all understand that.

This is a deep volume, heavy, took me a few days to read, but I was adsorbed into this world every time I picked it up. The ending with Dream and his son is just...powerful. I loved everything about this volume.

A 5 out of 5.

John Lees does what he does best, giving you multiple horror stories but this time they all connect into one larger picture by the end.

And like any good multiple stories at once comic there's some better than others. The first story of an abuse victim getting away from her husband/bf with her unborn child faces a horror of a creature far darker than you can imagine joining her. The second story of a husband and wife trying to get away from their problems...only to learn they might be ending up dealing with them here in Hotell. A sister is trying to find out what happened to her sister years ago but what she might find is a lot worse. And a demon might be inside a child or the child might be bipolar and his father has gone crazy.

The way the stories all come together is pretty solid. I really enjoyed most of them. The first story of mother and child is probably one of the stronger ones. The husband and wife one had a neat twist, and it is for sure twisted. I really liked the exorcist one even though the ending to it was weird. The sister trying to find out what happened is good but the weakest of the bunch.

While I don't think I enjoyed it as much as SINK (Check out Sink volume 1 and 2 by John Lees, SO good.) it is still really solid horror stuff. Go pick it up. AWA lineup is really solid so far. 4 out of 5.
