This was a darker take for Spider-man but a tasteful one.

First off the 3 part Chamleon storyline was a interesting way to go. I never much thought of the villain and to see him displayed here, with actual depth, made me second guess everything. His ending was really well done and gave a lot of interesting ideas for Peter. I also really enjoyed the issue about Peter visiting Uncle's Ben's gravesite and just chilling there. It had a really sweet ending too.

The other stories range from decent to good. A story of Sandman ends in a much darker way than expected but also some happiness. Kind of a fun story and interesting style to go with. Another one documenting what Happen to Gwen while also focusing on Spider-man and then Peter's view points. All good stuff.

While it can be wordy and some of the art outdated, I enjoyed a good amount of this book. Enough to try out the 2nd one for sure. A 3.5 out of 5.

Damn this second half was heart pounding badass and sad.

With his son taken from him steve uses everything he has to find Zola. While he's making his way to his son, his poor boy is being brainwashed by his father and somewhat sister. Though now his sister is starting to second guess Zola's true self. But when Zola begins the brainwashing it might be too much for the boy to handle and Steve might lose to time.

This is a brutal confrontation with a father who would do ANYTHING to get his son back. Inner monologue is amazing as Steve pushes his body well past his limits and it all makes sense. The intense showdown, the grief from loss, and the weight of the world on his shoulders. Everything works real well here to the point when a surprise guest comes in it gets even better.

While I really enjoyed the first half of Dimension Z, it's book 2 that elevates it to become one of the best stories for Cap. Sure the art can teeter on meh but overall, it works for this book. A 4.5 out of 5.

Another great volume of Cap in Remender's short but so far pretty great run.

With Cap trying to recover from the events of Dimension Z he's trying to find his place. Along with Jet he's determined to let the pass go, but it's always easier to say it than do it. And so his main struggle is letting go while also protecting the ones close to him. On top of that Nuke shows up and this time he's going around to different places and destroying them and planting a US flag. Letting the tensions of war build up.

I loved a lot of this. The Iron Nail part, the background villain, is probably the least interesting part but still entertaining. It's really the excellent moments with Falcon and Cap talking about loss and grief, or Jet trying to fit it, or even Steve going head to head with Nuke in brutal combat while also talking about what it means to be American.

With a new artist, things flow well enough, and still has a similar vibe of the last volume. I enjoyed alot of this volume and can see this run going down as another great Captain America run. That's always nice. a 4 out of 5.

Less fan service, more plot, way more death.

Just when everyone was getting comfortable, fucking, and enjoying life the pig like monsters attack. They shoot some poison gas into a tunnel, forcing our heroes to use magic to break through. But when one is poisoned, and the truth of their society starts to crumble, will they be able to survive or are they all....fucked?

This was pretty good actually. Better than volume one (Though i do miss my boobies) but it had a lot of great fight scenes, brutal deaths, lots of tricks and twist and turns, and a ending that was actually kind of shocking. I wonder where we will go from here. A 4 out of 5.

X-men story was meh but rhe Dark Age story was really interesting. I want more of that.

While this is obviously a step down from Knightfall, I'm surprised so many people say this is awful. Maybe because there's no big branching storyline, and I can see that as being a fault. This is mostly just a bunch of story of Jean Paul being batman.

Let me just say this. I'm in huge favor for Bruce retiring, just stepping down, going off in to the sunset and being in love with Selina till they fuck enough to have a kid, and just enjoy life. I would love for someone to take over for him. Dick has before and it was amazing. You know who SHOULDN'T take over for Bruce? Jean fucking Paul

Jean Paul is angsty as hell and honestly boring at the same time. It's crazy how that's even possible. He mostly just goes around stopping crime, which in itself is fine. It's true to the nature of Batman and the villains range from pretty good to silly as fuck (I won't even get into the cowboys...Dixon what the living shit was this?) But still, Jean Paul is missing everything that you need for a lead, but mostly a decent personality.

This is mostly Jean Paul decent into madness and by the time Bruce returns, back somehow cured, he wants to be Batman again but Jean Paul like "No bro, finders keepers losers weepers" and so Bruce and Tim decide they must get it back by force. Bruce goes to train.

That's the whole big storyline basically is how shitty Jean Paul is. And each story varies in quality. Some good, some okay, and some shitty. but it's 600+ pages so yeah...

Either way not great but not horrible. It's around a 2.5-3.

I said it once, and I'll say it again, Zeb Wells is SO underrated.

If told me Ant-Man would be one of my favorite comics of the year I'd be like...yeah you're probably right. Because I secretly love Ant-Man.

Scott and his daughter have been teaming up lately, and Ant-Man and Stinger are here to kick butt and take names. However, Stinger is growing tired of the silly missions her father is putting her on and Scott over here is a fuck up as always and trying to figure out how he can improve his life. When he goes to help a guy about a Bee situation he runs into swarm. You thought a Nazi controlling swarm bad guy was the real threat? You just wait.

This was fantastic. Funny as could be with multiple moments that made me smile, laugh, and screencap the scenes on my phone from marvel unlimited to share with friends. Too many lolz moments to count mixed with some great colorful art and impressive fight scenes on top of laugh out loud moments.

This also had a lot of heart warming moments as Cassie and Scott learn how to bond between father and daughter. More of this please.

A 5 out of 5.

FANTASTIC. This is one of the funniest issues yet. On top of that Sinister sassyness is at a all time high. I can't believe I likr sinister now. Thank you Wells.

A fun, creepy, and a bit heartwarming adventure for the summer family. I love how Scott and Jean actually feel like parents. The ending was lolstastic.
