Geez this is one creepy fucking manga.

This starts right where the last one left off. But wait, is the boy dead? NO! Wait, hospital. Wait. News of his recovery? Wait, why is my mother looking at me like if I speak a word of what happen she'll slice my neck? OH WAIT! A girl came to visit me. She likes me? WAIT! Mama found out. Oh weird she's getting close to me.

What the fuck was that ending? This is such a weird series and I kind of love it?

A 4 out of 5.

This was pretty bad. Had high hopes seeing Spurrier's name on it.

But this is just a rag tag group of X-Men who are honestly boring here. The whole Fantomex being kind of silly and love struck doesn't match well with what we got in the Remender run. The Psylock here is missing the spark that makes her fun. Cable is extremely dull here. And who the fuck cares about Marrow?

The art doesn't help as it feels lifeless and ugly. Oh and don't get me started on the weird switchup to more cartoony style, which I normally love, but feels so out of place in a X-Force style.

Yeah this was dull, brought nothing new, and way to wordy. This was pretty bad.

This series kind of went out on a whimper.

What happened? I know this is around the time Dixon departed DC but he was setting up his big returns of his baddies and they never did anything.

Also this book was hit with crossover fever as almost half of it was consumed by either Bruce Wayne Murderer? Event or some Joker event I never read (Is this empire joker?) Either way it was confusing to see Nightwing being a police officer and doing his thing, and next issue fighting weird Joker-lookalikes, and then him "I killed Joker I'm no good" without context. If nothing else the event sounds fun but the way it was placed in here is confusing.

The art sometimes is great, stylish, and fun. Other times I couldn't tell what the fuck was happening. The stories range from lighthearted and good but it also felt like Dixon was just spinning his wheels doing generic bad guys on the corner beatem up stories.

This could have been way better and not happy this was the final volume in a otherwise good-great run.

Surprised so many people love this. Was good but not amazing.

Basically this picks up after Luke and Ben go head to head and Ben unleashes his super evil force powers. He is confronted by three of his Jedi friends and they begin to fight, and Ben smacks them away and leaves. Of course those dumbasses go ahead and chase him. Ben goes to Snoke for some advice, heads over to the Ren people, and then figures out who he really is.

I think I hated the art sometimes. The emotional faces look weird and the body movement as well. I thought the dialogue was fine most of the time, and Kylo Ren being born was pretty cool. The fill in for the backstory and the story of Luke and Ben as a kid was great.

Overall, decent, even good at points but not the best. A 3 out of 5.

This was one of my favorite issues. Lots of great character moments, ton of brutal fights, and a ending that left me gasping. Not to mention Taylor writes the best damien and Jon. Need more.

Part 2 is a home run for the Sword event in X-Men's big event.

With the return of the Mutants who went with Apocalypse we are rushed to save them before they die. But what happens when they die in the other world and brought back? Do they come back normal? On top of that we have our first champion step up to the plate for the tournament that is coming.

This is badass as fuck tbh. A 5 out of 5.

Part 3 of the sword event for X-Men and sadly the weakest part but still entertaning.

The start is fantastic with Wolverine talking to Krakoa and letting him know he'll never trust him again before swearing to protect this land because of the good it will do. So starts off great, we get to see the other champion that will face wolverine on the other side, and the set up for a big brawl for Wolverine next part. While not great, still solid. A 3.5 out of 5.

Rukia is about to be executed but her boy said "F That" and saved her ass again. Now he must face off against her brother to keep her alive once more.

On top of that you get the Samurai woman lover and the good hearted guy facing off against the old man. yes I don't know names. But their stance and fight was very samurai like so it was a lot of fun to watch.

The only thing I didn't care for was the Cat lady and her fight but it was kind of cool to see her sexy ass in action.

Overall, fun Shonen fighting. A 4 out of 5.

This was a super fun, creepy, and delightful read of Swamp thing by multiple creators. Ram, Vita, and James write the best stories here with lots of twist. Vita's story all about a killer and getting revenge, Ram about time, and what human life is worth, and James about maybe coming to a new land and taking it will have some consequences.

Overall, very pleased as a Swamp Thing fan. Only story didn't love was about ceaser.

Part 5 of the Sword event! Really liked this issue!

It is now time for Storm to go get her weapon, and of course it would be in Wakanda. Why is that a problem? Because Storm and T'Challa were once married. Not my favorite romance story but you can see why this would be an issue. After asking Shuri and her mother for the weapon and being denied, we get some intense talking it out moments that we know will only lead to Storm going to get the weapon anyway. With a heartbreaking ending this issue really shined to be the strongest part since Part 2.
